This brings up the question: What defines "homosexuality"? Does it require both "sexual/physical attraction" and "romantic attraction"? Or does it require just one of them?
I am putting this type of identity into the Fetish Umbrella. Heterosexual “straight” identifying people that have a kink sexually for the same sex but do not want to do life or have emotional feelings for them.

While I don't compare to this, i was always told it was a phase, don't get me wrong, i only dated guys for 8 years prior to getting with my current gf, but what hurt me the most was when my father was drunk, the words that came out of his mouth hurt me so much, hearing "I don't love you because you're gay" really hurts, while i blame the booze, a little part of me knows that it might be the truth, but if and when i have a child of my own one day, i will support them in any way that i can!
I think sexuality, gender, identity etc are all too complex to be defined as binary (on/off). And that’s we get to identify the way we want to when we want too. And can change and be fluid.
Because the "straight" in the title is supposed to be in a sarcastic way. They're talking about "straight" guys that have internalised homophobia or don't want to admit they're gay
If you want to analyze every little part of the song, for your reactions, you should listen to it all the way through before commenting because stopping it every 10 seconds destroys all the emotional impact and understanding of the song. Then you could play it a second time, stopping it and analyzing it. The song makes complete sense if you listen to it as a whole without stopping it over and over and over again
