This is an interesting take on paper weaving. Re your comment on glue sticks. Loads of people have raved about the UHU glue stick, mainly Americans. I really don't like it, it just doesn't have enough sticking power and the paper tends to lift, so all I can assume is the UHU we have in Australia is different to what you have. The only one which works for me is Scotch permanent glue stick.
This is so awesome, love your colour choices, and esp the bordering, this is something I love, yet I don't do it myself for some reason (might be cos I don't have any ink pads lol). Will defo give this a go but will probably not cut my actual page, just make up the weaving, then pop it on top. Tfs xo
Hi! I feel very inspired by your video and your work. I love everything about these journals and will make one too. I'm a stencil lover and wonder where you got the great stencils? And did you use acrylic paint to dip the sponge into for the stencils? I've never used acrylic paint but I'd like to experiment with them. I also want to say your mark making came out really well! Thanks for sharing!
@@madebymartha After my comment I watched a few more of your videos and you mentioned the stencils! I tried the brayer and acrylics and it was sooo much fun! Thank you for making it feel easy to do and for your help. It will be a challenge to decide which Stencil Girl stencils I want. I see many fabulous designs!
@@oneheart19 I’m glad you were able to give it a try and enjoyed it! I love using stencils and especially with the acrylic paint. I do love Stencil Girl stencils and I have quite a few of them. I’ve stopped buying them for now, but one tip I have is that for Black Friday weekend they usually have a sale on their stencils and that’s when I would stock up every year
Hi Martha, I love the book. Those are the best to use and recreate! I like the way you adding the pages together. Great idea. I absolutely love the front and back cover! You are so creative!🤩Thank you for sharing! Gina
