Register rolls are high in acid so they may change color over time and should not be used in scrapbooks with photos. Your project is lovely. Just be careful about where you use the finished project.

@@TwistedArtdesigns thanks for the warning. I think I should’ve made it clear in the video that this is actually an adding machine roll so it’s just paper. But I have heard this about other cash register types of rolls

@@madebymartha I was just worried it would ruin pages or images. You could always test the paper rolls with a ph pen. Great tutorial! Love snippets!

What a fun prpject. I got a register roll but i never used it. I had all these plans and then just didn't so i donated back to the thrift store. Maybe oneday I'll ll try this. Looks fun.

Thanks! I got my register rolls - they are actually adding machine rolls which I didn’t say in the video - at a thrift store and I had no idea what I was going to do with them so I’m glad I found thisproject. Hope you give it a try because it was a lot of fun.
