often wonder what if Sam Peckinpah had made extra scenes for modern audiances and left them out until the movie caught up to modern audiances expectations
punk scared the stones,, cos they knew by then they had got self indulgent and decadent,, listen to the lyrics to HANG FIRE ,, so contrived,, they hadnt signed on in a long time,, millionaires can no longer taste poverty,, same thing happened to lydon with his butter adverts,, he also sold his fat soul ,,
That one like " I see a red door and I want to paint it black" means Jews during passovers paint red doors so death passes over them. So he wants to paint it black which basically means he (Keith Richards) wishes death upon them. Lucifarous.
Tales of movie makers and making of the past are rich in folk lore of Old West-type, so many of them un-made movies in themselves steeped in characters on and behind the camera, familiar faces lived out the decades on the screen drifting from other professions unlike today graduates of acting academies, the writers, directors overloading on film schools, all reason why those yesterday flics failing spectacularly at the box office now revered as classic.
Helemaal gelijk. De ruimteschepen die iets jaren vijftig achtig hebben met een enorme rookontwikkeling zijn me altijd bijgebleven. Heel bijzonder was zijn tekenstijl.
I was born in 68' and in 81' my buddy (born in 67') and I turned down seeing them for free at the LA Coleseum when his uncles had 2 xtra tix. We didn't care because we were all into RUSH almost exclusively at the time and all we really knew of the Stones at the time was what was on Tattoo You, or the Ruby Tuesday oldies. We didn't know how sht kicken their Mick Taylor years stuff was etc. I did see every tour after 81' though, and after all the books, youtube docs etc IMO the Stones are head and shoulders in front of EVERY other band by far, and what I personally admire the most is that I have never heard any belly aching about their personal drug problems or any of the terrible things that come with fame and fortune. That wuss assed axle walking off stage when they opened for them in 89' is exactly the crap I am talking about. I was there for the LA show, and heard later that G&R were not allowed in to the Stones after party because of that, and I think it's great they didn't stand for that kind of behavior!
Videos weren't a waste of time. they were a way for the record industry to get kids to buy music based on the looks of the performers rather than on their musical skills. I was a big fan of MTV and watched it from its launch in 1981 until it became a reality TV junk station; however, I think that MTV killed music.
Mick has more eye makeup on here than I wear. That was in the "glam rock" years..David Bowie, New York Dolls, etc. They all got all done up and strutted their stuff.
