I recently purchased this Digital Watercolor Painting Tools from the website of the respected Robert Ardill. And I installed this set on my photoshop, using the detailed tips that came with the set. Everything is clear and explained in detail. Thanks a lot, Robert for this Digital Watercolor Painting Tools. Very glad I found it!
This is a great content but i think this is far more mature for the beginners to understand. Will you please teach all these techniques from scratch so people like me who are new in water color world can understand and practice easily.
Hi Robert, since Photoshop V23.1 I've the problem that the shortcut "S" to change to smudge only works in workspace minimal. In the original workspace it generated the stamp tool. Is there any solution for this ? Thanks in advance. Cheers Markus
Wow! this is cool! May I know if it's necessary for me to use action? Or is there anything I need to download to get these brushes and effects? Thank you. Have a nice day!
Hi I have an issue with the script I have installed your workspace in Photoshop CS6 but now I want to install it on CC 2018 but when I try to import the scipt I have this error message TypeError:undefined is not an object:393 Error - 36: Not implemented Line: 332 -> button.text=text;
When I click on the link you suggest (Paintingdigitally.com), my security software (Norton) displays the warning 'Dangerous Webpage Blocked'. Why is this? Shall I disregard it?
Hi Robert, I am using the CC version. I can't seem to find the brush "wash squirrel soft", is that normal ? Has there been an update ? I see two squirrel brushes but none look like yours and none say "soft". Thanks !! You're brushes are amazing !!
Hi.Robert I have been viewing your videos using photoshop and watercolour painting and I think your system is marvellous, will your set up work with the latest version of Photoshop please? However I have one problem my computer pc windows 7 crashes regularly when watching your videos but I do not or in the past experience this problem elsewhere, is there anything you can advise to correct this situation?
Hi John, Thank you for your comment :). The tools will work in all versions of Photoshop from CS to the latest CC (there are different versions of the tools for the different versions of Photoshop). The link to the tools is here (in case you haven't found it): www.paintingdigitally.com/PD-tools.htm. The current release of the tools has many more features than the release shown on the videos (but it is upwards compatible). The crashing on your PC must have something to do with the browser you are using to view the videos and Windows 7 (the videos themselves are standard RU-vid videos so they definitely should not be causing this problem). I suggest you try a different browser and if you are still having the problem I would suggest checking your video driver to make sure it is current. If both of these things fail then it may be a question of reinstalling Windows. But I would consider going to Windows 10 if I were you as it seems to be very solid (not that Windows 7 was flaky, but mainstream support on it ended in 2015 and it will no longer be supported at all in 2 years time).
Robert thanks for reply and advice. I will use a different browser on this occasion with those videos. Unfortunately I am restricted to Windows 7 because I use a 40"moitor (a tv screen) I also have a motherboard problem and not able to reinstall easily. Thanks again and will be in touch later. read monitor above
