Consumerism has driven out sense from people's consciousness and the inflated hyped values of inanimate stupid stuff only comes from the craze and demand that is created due to big bubbles of image and class that people so badly want to maintain. Of course there are state of the art things , intellectual outputs and stuff with unbeatable quality and efficiency which deserve to be valued higher and which should be aspired by individuals. But these days , everything and anything that catches on the trend fire of social media is hunted down and acquired by people as if it's a life necessity. I'm certainly not suggesting to live a life like an ascetic or with austerity but common , stop going after brands just for the sake of it , all of us know that similar quality products are available at a much cheaper price. Use value chodkar sare log bss "cool value" ki disha mai bhag rahe hai. Nevermind, it's a free country, and this is just my opinion

Can we just call it racist and be done with it? Why keep a promise made centuries ago? And also, parsi men are allowed to consort with non parsis, its just that the maternal side is kept pure parsi. If this is not racism, i dont know what is. It was racism also that made it so the British supported the more caucasoid looking parsis than indian traders/businessmen. It's not that indian businessmen (read gujjus, marwadis, katchis etc)could not make businesses flourish. They did so for thousands of years before the British and many decades after. It was only the British that would only support the Parsis and not many indian businessmen. It's not that the parsis had a special business acumen.
Vijay is the Gatekeeper to all these stars who charge as high as 50% of the Film budget hence bumping up the production cost or reducing the production quality and deters good script from ever being produced instead they should pivot to a Fare profit sharing model and agent like Mr V are bottom feeders and should be cancelled !!!
Even in US cooking food is way cheaper than buying in QSR. It's going to cost more only if you are earning in those hours spent on cooking and other chores.
