Bat and Robin, I can see that getting remake just using Batman Arkham engine and gameplay. Or a fan remake try to improve it and make it less janky. Batman Beyond... maybe could been better with an upgrade system and replay level select? gain exp for new combos and upgrades for max health and gadgets damage and speed stats. it be something to do in the game. The Batman "racing game" yeah that one I wonder why that didn't had modified system for the cars and weapons. upgrade the steering, the boost, and armor something like gran turismo or even something basic like R.C. Pro-Am or Rock n' Roll Racing. ps1 Superman hope that one get a finalize fan patch.
This is stellar! I do find it very entertaining that you call out SaGa Frontier 2 as having a "new weapon degradation system" because as I've only played the earlier Game Boy SaGa entries, I think of that as a fundamental feature of the series from its outset (I have not yet played any Frontier or Romancing entries)
It's refreshing seeing someone explore all of those games objectively and considering the context behind 'em, instead of just going "lol game bad" like everyone else
Watching this video made me want to do a marathon of all (or at least most) Square games.. thanks for keeping me occupied for a few years :P (also, the Final Fantasy being named that because Square was supposed to go bankrupt is a myth that was debunked a long time ago.. the devs just thought the name sounded cool)

If you like C&C on the PS1, I'd recommend checking out Command and Conquer 64. It's a great port that benefits greatly from the N64 controller's extra buttons and adds 3D graphics.
One of the best soundtracks in games, included other music too, like beats from wu tang clan. One of the best games ever for sure, I remember spending hours with my brothers trying to figure the puzzles out... A true gem! PS: Don't enter the doors by their back.
You videos are really good. I'm binging your series and are really helpful to decide what to play. As a side note: sheeesh! The exagerated boot/butt irks me normaly but the poligonal low res makes it ridiculus. Almost like a parody.
id like to say that as a kid i played RE1 when going through my aunt's ps1 collection in her basement. i didnt even make it past the fucking intro cutscene before i ran upstairs
If you do another compilation of these, can we do it without the prize wheel? Love having these running in the arcade room but it can be bit of awkward dead space.
I agree it would flow a lil better but since the reviews themselves often contain mentions of the wheel, I find its better to keep it there just to avoid confusion, that and there's some "wheel die-hards" that watch the channel, so removing it might legit cause a stir haha
100% agreed on South Park. At some point around series 8 they did away with all subtlety and focused solely on topical points and repeating the same joke ad nauseum. There are still good episodes here & there but the first few season are just so packed with humour
Funny I had a Sega Saturn capcom ad, Fox Hunt post come out too, but I guess it quietly got canceled. I kinda wonder if ps1 had ram cart, if they copied saturn's ram tech the 2d and 3d would have look and run better? like Xmen and Darkstalkers, etc etc
I lust looked up Brightis to see if there's any fan translation projects and found a romhacking thread from last month about it. Since the site's gone read only there probably won't be any updates there but there is a github link in the thread. This video is also mentioned in the description so you might have helped kick off an effort to get the game translated.
I would absolutely love to see you jump onto the PS2 a bit. I definitely gotta say, you're doing a great job with the PlayStation content. It's very high quality, different, and captured a cool vibe I absolutely love.
