I feel like NYC of all places should have grade-separated bus lanes and dedicated infrastructure for buses. In the spirit of full disclosure, I love buses. 🚎 🚎 🚎
Did a practice road test for Class A the other day and I almost threw a fit. NYC is chaos. People parked in the road everywhere, sometimes on both sides. Drivers cutting you off. People speeding around you because youre trying to be careful. It's maddening. I can't wait to move out of here.
Anyone driving in nyc goodness y'all have patience and skills you gotta have it ,nyc is the ultimate test to driving skills I assume ,test you on all levels every second 🤣
That's amazing how you get a birds eye view on the screen. I thought driving in London was bad to hell with driving one in nyc, how long is the coach? We have 15metre long with rear axle steering too
To give you a perspective New Zealand since the mid 90s had been churning out super low floor buses while the USA was still producing these beasts. The last major high floor order was in the mid 90s.
Yeah it's crazy how late North America kept making high floors. Gillig made the last high floor in 2008. They did also start making low floors in the mid 90s but it did not catch on until a while later.
Would it be funny if I told you the engine model in these is probably the same as some buses in New Zealand because they used American Made Cummins for some bus models.
@@eugew23 Especially when every single component besides the engine and accessories was made in China. Cummins has Chinese manufacturing so its big hmm.
That silver car towards the end is either new in the area or just a nervous driver. They kept going slow and I think they were trying to let people in from that on ramp just after the tunnel. those type of drivers just gets on my nerves at times.
