you know, I did the math, and it's been a month since I discovered Dear Evan Hansen. It was the second musical I even watched. Since discovering it I have: -Watched every possible movie with Mike Faist in it -Watched the recording of Be More Chill with Will Roland as Jeremy -Listened to the music of DEH on loop -Listened to the audiobook -Gotten and obsession with pretty much every character here -Made fanart -And gotten tickets to see the actual show in May of next year, which I will have to take a plane to go see because I live nowhere near englad
In the deeper aspect, this basically shows how evan was so absorbed in this fantasy that he was fully engaged with Connor instead of even acknowledging Jared. Basically my man kleinman third-wheeled evan and himself.
ok not to be the one to start this conversation BUT… who’s here after obsessing over Challengers just to realize Mike Faist’s been in their liked videos for literal years???….. just me?
Small rant how the fuck is will Roland snarky and rude here yet so like not good at Jeremy in be more chill they have the same character traits and are around the same age youd think he would play them somewhat similarly (think ryan macartan as jd and hans)
Why do i actually like Michael WAY more than Ben? Ben always seemed to be acting, like, ACTING, the role. Whereas i feel Michael actually just IS that awkward. Plus the voice. Micheal is my Evan.
Apparently this is one of the worst ways to break in a glove. The best way is to just use the glove every day until it softens with use. It's still a great song though because ultimately its not about the glove but life itself.
That may be symbolic of how what connor’s dad thought to help his son was actually further pushing him away! It’s probably intentional, but only the people who knows how to break in a glove would fully understand that symbolism! ❤️
