मुंबई के एक्सप्रेसवे रिंग रोड ब्रिज के अगल बगल में जितना झुगी झोपड़ी है सबको हटाकर वहा ऊंचे ऊंचे बिल्डिंग बनवाओ फिर देखो मुंबई दुनिया के किसी भी ग्लोबल सिटी से कम नहीं दिखेगा।

One thing to be noted is that there is no facility for walking or cycling on these new roads like the old roads. Roads in foreign countries give equal importance to walking and cycling. Mumbai's old British streets have pedestrian access but it seems the current government does not give importance to cyclists and pedestrians. A similar pattern is going on all over India. The government should promote cycling and walking more for the concern of the environment. Not all Indians have access to a 4 wheeler and they still prefer walking and cycling instead of a 4 wheeler. See how bad the condition of the old roads of Mumbai is under current govt. BMC is not maintaining the old roads. The condition of Indian Railways is also deteriorating. There is no point in building new trains or roads if they are not giving importance to the existing roads and trains.
This is an access controlled expressway, who on earth would walk 5km between 2 exits in Mumbai’s climate? Do not confuse this with surface streets located within the city. This is part of an upcoming ring road around MMR, to be used specifically to travel long distances.

If authorities manages to clear all the construction materials & plant trees + grass it will look good. One of the common mistake Indian govt. projects do is they ignore proper landscaping.

I was excited at the beginning of the video and infrastructure development in our country always makes me happy. However the reality is that the construction quality of these projects is rarely up to the mark. There are already repaired patches on this new 13 thousand crore project and that's simply unacceptable. The lane markings have already started fading. we waste money painting tunnels with artwork which is completely nonsensical. Tunnel walls are not meant to showcase art, as such distractions can cause accidents. Many countries have even banned billboards for the same reason, as they can distract drivers. there are strict regulations to preserve aesthetics, reduce distractions, and improve safety. It surprises and saddens me that as a country we are capable of landing on the moon but we still can't build good quality roads or make sensible infrastructure decisions even after spending such huge amounts of money.
If go and watch any old videos regarding coastal raod project.... People in the comments were giving predictions like this will never be made... Or the completion date will be in 2030 And what not.... All those haters have become fans now Trust me This project is the living example of what Mumbai deserves in terms of infrastructure ....which has been denied to this city just to safeguard the votebank... The amount of encroachment in Mumbai is unparalleled anywhere in the world... Just mind boggling...
