Jesus Christ. You're wrong about so many things, your grammar is horrid and you sound like a Gen Z simp. You need to find another hobby. RU-vid isn't your forte.
I'm having an issue with the LED panel not turning off even when vehicle is off. Double and triple checked my wiring and even had an accessory light controlled by the panel. No other lighting or connection issues to trace. LED panel stays lit. Any ideas?
This bumper I opted for Steel! However they offer aluminum which is WAY lighter but aluminum can be trickier to find someone to weld it for you or weld yourself!
I’ve heard the 09’s have the upgraded “never cracks” dash but no clue if that’s true but seems neat! I just figured every other year will either have cracks or WILL have cracks eventually haha
Hey Joel! I’ll have a new video popping up soon on the KC RU-vid going over wiring a chase light into the GX and where to tap into lights, but for the reverse you can pop the back cover off and tap directly into the reverse lights!
Sorry for the late reply but you’d want to skip the fuse tap, tapping into an accessory is only for the switch to turn off and on when ignition is on, but if you want to be able to use it when the car is off, if you skip the accessory wire it’ll stay on with the car off but do note there is a phantom power draw since the screen stays lit! You could also connect the accessory fuse tap to a regular knocker switch to turn the system on and off manually! Hope this helps!
Do you have any conflict with the hood strut hitting the fuse box when the hood is closed? I just bought the Auxbeam system just like you have and am in the process to install it on my GX470. Glad I found your channel. TIA!
get a cheap betta fish aquarium heater, can probably change the plug to a cigarette outlet and just plop it in when it could freeze and unplug when not in use. only issue is the temp isn't really adjustable they come set to like 72-76 degrees but should be just enough to keep it from freezing when its cold out, use one in my bair bucket in the garage in upstate ny winter and it never freezes. could probablly due some insulation on the hoses/pelican boxes to kee pall that jazz from turning solid.
Great video. I'm new at looking at these. I like simple vehicles. But my commute can get crazy in the winter so AWD is preferred over 4x4. Been driving an '05 Grand Cherokee slightly lifted. I want body on frame AWD so GX is good choice. But I want to stay away from air suspension. Like I said I want simple. Do all GX have air suspension?
My GX does incredible in the snow. Just make sure you grab some triple peak rated tires! But yes all GX470s have rear air suspension from the factory. But switching to coils is only a $300 job Some have KDSS which is a hydraulic sway bar system you have to work around when lifting and stuff!
I hate to tell you this but this is your second video I watched. You made a video on the Midland radio and never said what type it was, now you make this on a duel battery and mostly likely you hit your mike or didn’t have it close to you and you sounded like you had a mouth full of food. first you should edit your videos if you are going to put instruction out. A 100 Amp fuse when it should be a fourth Amp followers will end up burning down there vehicles.
The FR rack was loud as hell to be honest, I switched to a prototype rack for KC, but if I had to do it again I would actually go with Sherpa Racks, The build quality and the people over there are way more impressive than other options on the market! AND they are running black Friday deals right now sherpaequipmentco.com/products/quandary
