Highly unlikely If you are moving any kind of distance. A inch here and there assuming there is a couple foot of line set. But typically unfortunately not
@@JACKofallmasterofPLUMB what can be the consequences if it's moved with out draining, is the unit having a hard time reaching the temperature I set it too one of them, I had some one moved mine and did not drain the refrigerant and now it's not that cold like before. My unit is 3 year old and it was working perfectly fine before the relocation.
@@poundermonster assuming no damage was caused during the move, moving it alone would not cause any issues. However if a refrigerate line was damaged causing a leak for example the unit will slowly start to underperform and quickly no longer cool. However that is a more extreme case. I would first check and change the furnace filter, check and clean the condenser. If you want to get further into it then check and clean the evaporator coil and if you have the furnaces secondary heat exchanger. All these can be seen how to do in my videos. It may well be just a coincidence that you unit was moved and the cooling got worse due to a minor factor like a dirty filter.
Finally a solution to my newer Milwaukee mag drill. I even called Milwaukee head quarters and spoke with their engineers and they had no idea what to say or how to help over the phone. Just to take it in for service. But the voice over and zoomed out video definitely suck. Could have just posted a normal video
@@JACKofallmasterofPLUMB I think the decorative nut cover is to be hand tightened, but the cartridge holding nut itself needs to be tightened with pliers, at least that's how kitchen faucets and bathroom faucets go.
@@sparky9327 100% in the case of faucets. Assuming we are talking about the same part, this retaining ring is smooth chrome. If the intent was to tighten with a tool it would have a means of applying a tool to it. Having replaced several hundred I assure you snug and hand tight will seal this. When these are over tighten they can be a nightmare to remove. The cartridge fits firmly in the rough in with an O ring. The retaining ring is only to prevent it from being pushed forward by water pressure.
@@JACKofallmasterofPLUMB not to mention the deposits that build up around the cartridge and collar so it's a nightmare to pull. The cartridge is held tight with the screwed on ring, the collar that holds pressure on it from the handle that is also screwed on. It's not coming out if all of it is tight.
Thanks for your video I had a similar issue. Make sure you turn the outer ring properly to wind the big spring to keep it automatically locked. You did it wrong it is not supposed to stay in the unlocked position. It is hard to get it on the first try but after trying 3-4 times I got it right!
Thanks again for pointing that out. We’ve not used it since the repair so I’m happy you noticed it. I will be posting that part of the fix shortly so if anyone else has the same issue check out part 2 of this video. Thanks @ericbellemare7529
I just looked at that "garden hose" gasket, and my hose started leaking! 😂 Seriously, I dont think this is a bad idea, and can save you in a real pinch, but I think for round gaskets a compass and exacto knife is the move.
If the "brain" of your text to speech engine hurts usoing TEFLIN, then have a human speak, brush on Teflon pipe dope and wipe off the slight excess when done. It doesn't matter in which direction it's applied and if you need to remake a connection you don't need to clean it. 😁
Also inside, behind the cartridge are 2 grooves that hold a small spring and rubber gasket…if those fall out and not put back in then your shower will make a small whistle sound…I did not realize this till I found those pieces on the side of the tub…I put them back and the whistling stopped
Obviously that works great and a great common sense approach. Too many people overcomplicate issues and cant see the forest because of the trees. I like your solution. Is the pillow stuffing some type of foam?
Thank you. No it is just pillow batting. You can buy it from Walmart or anywhere like that. It is kind of Fibrous I would say over foam. There is a link to it in my description so if you look at that you’ll either be able to get it through that link or take a screen shot and be able to identify it at a store. Let me know if you try it out or need anymore help
This is so crazy it might just work! I've got some hella cloudy pool water that i'd love to clear up for the season. time to get a sump pump and get workin!
I have been cleaning my pool like this for almost 10 years. Doubled the size of the pool to this one now and still, same size sump pump, 1 bucket and it meets the demands. For me personally I find mine goes cloudy when the kids are in it all the time. Especially if they have sunscreen on. In the peek of summer I often run mine 24/7 but I also run it through a secondary solar panel to gain some heat too before it goes through the bucket. Good luck!
@@JACKofallmasterofPLUMBI put in the bucket filter for my pool today. I didn't have to buy anything because I had all the stuff I needed at home. I used an old pool pump and a bunch of old towels. Once the pool is clear, I'm gonna make a water feature with the extra pump. This summer is gonna be awesome! Thanks for the idea.
@@BuuBot That’s awesome, even better you could make it work from stuff laying around. The sump pumps move a lot of water compared to a regular pool pump so might take a bit longer but it will clean it up for sure. Typically I put it on, wake up the next day to a crystal clear pool. Even after doing it for 10 years I am always surprised haha.
Cartridge replacement advice should begin with how to identify model number of your faucet and how to find part number of the cartridge. Trying to install wrong cartridge in a wrong faucet won't work no matter how good installation instructions are.
Yeah for sure. Sadly these days cheaper or at least more cost effective to replace than fix it hey. I could only imagine they charge me double to repair it over buying a new one. A guy almost misses his original flip your head down for “auto dark” 😂
