@@Blewett2019 Thanks man! The glissandi are one of my favorite things about that piece! My newest piece “The Mad Scientist” actually has a LOT of Trombone glissandi too
@@XxLikaxX Also, it’s super cool that you play both French horn AND bass clarinet! I’m sure your director appreciates that kind of flexibility! Bravo 😎
@@XxLikaxX I had heard that Mr. Page was moving schools. It’s hard to lose an amazing director like Mr. Page, but is Mrs. Connell your new director? I’ve heard good things about her 😃
Yo! I was in a zoom call with Mr.Stewart and I just wanna say that I love mecha dragon as a peice. I love playing it, fun and interesting to play but like you said on the zoom call that what you was going for.
Hey thanks for commenting and subscribing! So glad you like my music and the Zoom Call! It means a lot to me 🥰 What instrument do you play on Mecha Dragon?
Hey scratch Eden if you remember your close friend I was in his band as one of the trombones so I thank you for letting us use two of your songs in both of my years
@@scratchedenomg thank you so much for asking!! I play the alto saxophone and it was the grade ahead of me who played but I really hope I get the chance to play it too!! 😁
@@Ren-ip8ki That’s awesome! I’m so honored that you liked Mecha Dragon enough to come here and leave a comment! Your band must have had a really awesome performance 😁
I went to my school concert and the MS band played it, i was supposed to play it with my fellow bandmates (6th grade clarinet) but y'know school expelled me. but the concert was awesome!! (video is on my channel IF you want to check it out)
I just watched the performance on your channel and your band played the piece beautifully! Thanks for posting it 🥰 I’m really impressed by your continued support of your band even though you weren’t able to perform with them. It demonstrates your genuine love for music and your band. Hang in there. This expulsion is only one moment in your life and will not define you. What will define you (as a musician and in life) is your spirit of commitment and collaboration which your comment and posting of the video clearly demonstrates. I hope things start looking up for you very soon ❤️
@@scratcheden thank you! I really do love band and music, my mom said that i have always had a love for music. My band director said i was a better clarinet player and would hate to lose me, so when she did she was really disappointed. thank you for supporting me!
I remember last Friday when we went on a a zoom call with you! I absolutely love this song and I will be playing it at my concert tomorrow. Thank you for making this masterpiece!!
Hey there! Thanks for finding me on RU-vid and commenting! I’m so glad you liked the Zoom Call and are such a fan of my music! Break a leg tomorrow and let me know how it goes 😃
Hello there, I was one of the band kids who was on that zoom call last week (Friday). I play the two tombs (Percussion 1). I can’t wait to play Mecha Dragon at my concert and hopefully you would upload the “world premiere” performance on RU-vid. Thanks.
Hey thanks for finding me here on RU-vid and commenting on this video! So glad you dig my stuff! Would love to see a recording of your performance and post it on my channel 😃
Thank you so much! This is my first piece that I’ve released for choir, so it means a lot to have your support as I try to break into new mediums. Thanks for liking what I do 😁
@@lovehate1717 Thanks for considering me a favorite! I have so many favorite composers, and to be considered anybody’s favorite composer is so cool 😁 Just so I don’t take credit for “Attack of the Cyclops” that piece is actually by Mark Williams! I agree with you completely, that one is an awesome piece too 😊
Yo! Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. I really like this one too 😊 I don’t have anybody playing this song yet. Does your school have a marching band?
Thank you so much ❤️ It blows my mind to think there’s someone out there who considers me their favorite composer. I am truly honored and humbled that you think so highly of my music! Thank you for performing and enjoying my stuff 🥰
Mecha Godzilla was definitely an influence! Someone asked me to write a “Dragon”-themed piece and I wanted it to sound different from your typical medieval-esque music. A robot dragon was a really fun twist and the thought of a large one terrorizing the city just gave me so many sound ideas to play with 😂
