That's Pat Rush. He's the only player to have ever recorded slide on a Johnny Winter album. That's saying something. Also toured with Jeff Healey before Jeff's passing. Seen him at jams in Toronto. Very tasteful player for the song. Incredible chops.

Man, I'm born and raised in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, drank all my life and I can't remember even see this guy play. Did he stick to working out of town? ... I heard of him, but never seen him. I seen everybody else .. this is odd.
He used to play all over, back in the day. I kinda remember, making a fool of myself, on stage in a Legion, up your way somewhere. Years later, when I saw him in London, he came to my table, and sat. From then when I saw him in London he would come to the table. Nicest guy.
Great to see this 😊 . "The Autumn Smiles" club scene. I was one of the extras on the dancefloor but didn't show up in the final cut. If I'm not mistaken this song was also called "Knuckle Sandwich" back in the day?? It's weird how I can remember some odd things from that day. Joe & Ben gave the drummer shit for showing up late. Between shots the band played other songs & I was blown away with their version of The Beatles' "Oh Darling" , as well as George Benson's "On Broadway". Between shots the actor playing the sleezy tuff guy drank at the bar & stayed in character while chatting with a woman at the bar who was oblivious to what he was doing; i thought it was pretty funny 😅 😅 Thanks for sharing 😊
