I am a minimalist at heart and while I enjoy great sounds, I can no longer bear the sight of snaking cables.
Technology has brought us to the age where great sound can be delivered over the air without cables. And so here I am, in love all over again and sharing my love for wireless sound with you.
No chance of us throwing any more money at Sonos since the app became unusable. Thousand of pounds worth of Sonos equipment not fit for purpose in our house now
I wish Sonos would implement simultaneous output through the Ace and the Arc. I recently swapped my parent's sound system for an Arc with sub and surrounds, because they just couldn't really manage fiddling with their old Yamaha AVR, it was always in some weird mode that caused tinny sound with some TV content. The Arc solved all that, it just works. My dad has some slight hearing issues, not bad enough to justify hearing aids (and he tried -- they annoy him to no end). He really enjoys the Arc kicked up a notch or two so he can follow dialog. But of course my mom doesn't like that. There are not many good solutions for simultaneous (and synchronous) speaker+headphones playback available. I think Samsung TVs have that feature with any BT headset, but ofc they bought an LG before finding out about that.
Biggest gripe, Sonos continues to hate Android users/platform. We don't get Truplay, don't even get Sonos Ace true support. Why continue to alienate a customer base
Your poll greatly exaggerates the number of people who will purchase the headphones. We viewers of your channel are avid Sonos enthusiasts and are more likely to buy ANY Sonos product. At least we were before the app update.
Pete great work. My preorder is in. I do have a question. Sub mini and beam combo for a smaller room seems to not have of the bass of my 2 play 5s and sub mini. Any thoughts?
Please tell me that 1 1/2 foot usb c cable is not the one included that is tiny. You would hope they would include a 4 - 6 ft cable. How is the spatial audio through the headphones how to does it compare to the airpod max or airpods pro 2?
Will the bose quiet comfort ultra have more bass compared to the sonos ace? Im asking because the sonos sub provide top quality bass and hope sonos ace can emulate similar bass
I bought a Sonos Move and am still not able to get it into my system. The reseller is also not able to get it to connect to their system. Sonos just replies that "it is working". I have now waited for three weeks to get a new Sonos Move but still no delivery. Is this related to the new (and really bad) software and app?
They need to add onscreen menus to their soundbars so even if the app gets screwed up, you can still operate it. B&O did a similar thing and now the beosound stage is a potato alarm clock speaker.
The function of playing "Top Tracks" from an artist doesn't work anymore. I use it all the time, but after updating to this horrendous version, it's missing. I'm on Deezer, but the samme occurs on Spotify as well.
If the CEO of Sonos was a thinking man, he’d offer a roll back option for those who just want to use their system, as it was when they invested their hard earned money. Who wants to be plagued with another update every time they open the app. 🥴
New Sonos App has my system sound like shit. Static sound is coming out of the soundbar when I play RU-vid. App don't even log in to my system like it used to. Then yall change how we could adjust the bass and treble on the Volume..
I bought the era 300 had issues from beginning finally after being on hold for 2 hours was told have to be on 2g network to set up hit set up not I lose connection on WiFi and Bluetooth … it keeps telling me update failed … I’m returning my speaker …. So disappointed with a $400 speaker
Yall, i had to google on why this app is so messed up - i was excited for the update and new look, and i added to my devices, iphone & ipad - i almost updated my MAC and thank god i didnt, because i can use the old mainframe… my main issue is i cant add songs to my queue, and its annoying to make a playlist the way im used to..
I really need back the feature to use my NAS. I used this feature every single day in my business. Now, I have to use a different system than Sonos. Really frustrating to have a several thousand euro expensive sound system which cannot be used (in my case) anymore due to a really stupid software update.
Watch what happens to their Revenue in the next couple quarters after EVERY SINGLE USER is telling EVERYONE THEY KNOW to NEVER EVER BUY SONOS PRODUCTS because of what they did. SHORT SONOS STOCK $SONO
Hi Peter - you're being too kind to the app for me. It's far worse than you make out. The most unforgivable thing for me is the length of time after starting it up to be able to do anything. It can be 20-30 seconds of grey squares on the screen - embarrassing if you need to turn down the volume or something urgent.
I’ve tried all the suggestions to get my Arc and Era 300’s (as surrounds) to Trueplay but it starts but never completes. I can Trueplay them all individually but as soon as I add the 300’s as surrounds it just hangs. The issue appears to be the Era 300’s. Very frustrating, Sonos need to pull there finger out!!!
