I’ve found it to be real hit and miss at my local store. I took back a ozito drill without receipt no issues, then a cheaper drop saw and they told me to bugger off!
Thanks mate! My rough rule of thumb is one Bunnings jumbuck charcoal chimney per kg of meat. I reckon that’s about 1kg of charcoal per 1 kg of meat. Dont be afraid to add more as you go along, you want to maintain a heat level where your hand can last 2/3 seconds in the cooking zone before you need to pull it away throughout the cook.
Ok cheers. I acutally did a damper in a 4 qrt campoven that i managed to fit into the centre rack with a small amount of grinding to both the smoker slot and both sides of cast camp oven. Couldnt get the lid on the camp oven but a bit of foil did the job. I was pretty impressed with the end result. Have you tried anything similar?
@@michaelseymour5370 I haven’t tried a camp oven in the smoker but I have done a few camp oven stews. Camp oven over the top of the pig (take off the bbq plate) and some heatbeads on top worked well.
@@aussieoutdoorreviews yes I do. Thank you for the reply. This rotisserie grill is actually cheaper than the attachment itself, not including the spit. Haha
