I’ve just replaced my PSU with one I bought on Ebay: a Delta DPS-980AB A PSU ($82 with shipping from USA to Spain), with no luck, my Mac Pro aA1186 doesn’t turn on. I’ve checked the logic board LED’s: all off. I ordered it because after testing a PCI video card I had around, my Mac stopped working 😢 and I assumed it was the PSU. So now I’m afraid the culprit is the logic board. The connection order I followed is: PSU #1 plug-Mac #1 plug, PSU #2-Mac #2, and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Help please anyone. Disconnected LCD temperature sensor and forgot how to put it back properly. When reinserted, should the black wire be on the left or right. If possible a picture or sketch will suffice....thanks.
😎0:16 / 3:43 Fans were running all day, saw lots of diagrams of the inside but here at your numbers I saw where the fans' exhaust are, that's when I noticed the pencil blocking the exits, sorry, not tech savvy but your video is very interesting, bff does my repairs, will tell him of your excellent video.🪛💻I love my Mac Air💝
Battery in mine swelled up, so in an emergency effort to get the battery out of the house and save the data I tried my hand at this! Took me close to 3 hours including hunting for makeshift tools but got the battery out safely in one piece for disposal. Ordering a new one and can’t wait to see if it still works! I have a few doubts lol
DELETE THE VIDEO, YOU ARE MAKING DISINFORMATION. that is not the wifi antenna. there are two. The main one is located under the battery connector (a flex cable that reaches the speaker). The second wifi antenna (5ghz) is located under the rear camera connector.
Thank you this video helped save my MacBook after it got water logged. Only thing is you skipped the reinstall of the microphone and so now only one speaker is working and I don't want to take my laptop apart again. Still have the mic from the old logic board
