If you look at the side of the Churchill you'll see something unusual, an escape hatch. It's located just above the bogie wheels towards the front end. This was an extra safety feature for the crew. As a matter of fact this tank was very popular with tankers because of its emphasis on crew safety, such as extra armor and a roomy interior. But on the negative side the Churchill's gun was much too weak, and no match for German 88's. As for British soldiers Marx did make these back in the 1960's, along with French, and they were being remade in the 1990's, but I don't know what happened to them after that.
I love the energy that you use in the vid it’s different from other reviews where I feel sad from there energy, instead your happy and that’s underrated pls keep doing your great work
I was very ill during that stage of life, so some of those vids were me doing my best, and probably did have some "sad energy". lol but 2 years ago Jesus healed me from my incurable disease!!!! <3
This is basically like lost media I can't find anything on these but I remember them and got something similar but with jungle animals I don't know why but these things were on a table near the front in walmart and it had blue cloth on it if anyone also saw this tell please
Thanks for the video! BMC has a couple of different Japanese soldier sets out. This one features the CTS Japanese, but there is also the famous Marx Japanese from the last century which BMC is remaking. Both are good. What's nice about THIS set (CTS) is that it includes the two-piece machine -gun crew. What's nice about the Marx set, on the other hand, is that it's a little more off-the-wall and contains more varied poses, including a sub-machine gunner that the real Japanese Army never really had. Now just add some sand from the dollar or craft store, some palm trees, and maybe a cardboard bunker. Presto! You're in the South Pacific! (And watch out for those Coconut Crabs. They're as big as a Rubbermaid trash can and they can CLIMB!)
LOVE those white jeeps with the white crosses, they really stand out! Glad to see Timmee is getting back to the spirit of the 1960's, which was all about creativity and FUN. Back then we had companies like Remco that made the "Polar Queen" plastic ship in blue and white, and of course the famous "Hamilton's Invaders" playset with the ciolorful "Blue Defenders" soldiers. It's all about TOYS, not models (are you listening CTS?) and IMAGINATION. When a kid uses his imagination a flowerpot can become an African jungle, and a sofa can become the Rocky Mountains. Imaginatrion is the heart of PLAY.
The model versions machine gun has a joint on that side handle that allows it to fold up. For some reason it seems sturdier than the figure's gun, Idk why.
Here's an interesting fact for you. As of the 1990's the ORIGINAL Marx mold used to make the 1960's German vehicle set (soft plastic tank, armored personnel carrier, and motorcycle with side car) STILL EXISTED. Unfortunately a dispute developed between some dealers as to who owned the molds. Lawsuits were filed back and forth, but before the matter could be settled legally the molds were reported STOLEN, and have never been seen since. It is presumed that the mold(s) were destroyed. Isn't that a shame? To destroy a great toy because of businessmen's greed and ego. What a fdsgrace.
I like how durable BMC tanks are. I've been hoping to see a wider range, so this is good. I have Tigers and Panthers, but there were many more Panzer IIIs in the field. When will those come out, I wonder?
The zock is op in federation vs zeon, if you know what your doing. They nerfed it in gundam vs zeta gundam, the Particle cannons can over heat now lol. I love those games.
i started swearing when I saw amuro kill it in one shot in the anime, i died so many times fighting it in "journey to jaburo" for the ps2.... it was the game boss, and it was a nightmare.... pop behind it only to get lasered to death. yikes.
Very helpful tip regarding warm and cool water for helping straighten them! I picked up a back of American light infantry for practice painting and with a bit of cleanup I think they may be good for some larger scale wargaming!
