I always wanted to get back into toy soldiers, and last year I bought a giant pack of literally everything, like 100 soldiers (10 of each type), a few different models of ships (of course pretty small, so the proportions are weird and I don't use them much), a lot of different vehicles and some medium sized planes. So all of that, x2 because there is an extra identical pack for a different colour. Now since these were the crappy ones, I got all of them for about £20. So since then, I loved them. Judge me all you want, but I'm the guy with the cool ass battlefield in a giant sand pit while you are living your boring, toy soldier free life.
Those Russian BMC soldiers are GREAT! Beautifully detailed, originally made by Marx for inclusion in their big "D-Day" playsets along with Brits, French, etc. I have them in chocolate color and like to use them in sci-fi adventures also, such as you see in the 1968 movie "The Bamboo Saucer". In that film (available on RU-vid) Russian soldiers and Americans team up to fight off the Chinese Army, while all of them look for a downed UFO somewhere in the area. The Russians in that film look just like these BMC guys!
im really hoping too. there were several issue, and some challenges to figure out to start again, but im seriously trying to figure some of those things out. its my heart's desire to start again.
