Bullshit. The important is the musical result, whatever the theory. And the results are really poor. You can't hear his music for a time longer than one minute. So it's worthless. Just a show-off of the French, as if they have discovered sth great! Just WORTHLESS.

These pieces should be "performed" again and regularly. Scriabin might have been greatly impressed.

GIANNIS XENAKIS, one of the most important Greek composers and architects of the 20th century, internationally known as IANNIS XENAKIS, is self-assembling in the 1983 MONOGRAPHY program. He first quotes information about his life. From the Delphi Museum Museum, where the most important exhibits of the museum are displayed, it describes its resistance and political action and explains the reasons why the "multiple artistic thinking" fascinated him and which led him to the combination of art, philosophy and science in his art. GIANNIS XENAKIS continues his studies at the Department of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, refers to the pioneering synthetic methods he has discovered and his collaboration with the well-known architect Le Corbusier He also speaks of the value of art architecture with references to Byzantine and Greek folk architecture and attributes the definition of Greekness and art. Finally, he describes the way he perceives music, as well as the special character of his musical synthesis technique. After 27:00 minute. 1992 in Athens "Oresteia" is presented. Honoring the 70 years of Xenakis.

@@lorenzoprati3901 Yeah pretty much, the whole installation was great for the time ... at "The Thermes de Cluny" in May 1973 on our way to Morocco.

Its notheworthy that the argentinian composer and engineer Fernando Von Reichenbach invented a very similar machine back in 1967 (named "Catalina"), and Xenakis got inspired by that. It's a pity that often big name personalities also take all the awknoledgement into their legend for the effort of other less known people of their era.
