It is rumored that a MIG 25 fired a missile at altitude and speed, which scared the pants off the Pentagon, and it was not long after that they retired the SR-71.
Thank you so much. Finally a video that's easy to understand, helped me understand everything, none of that "subscribe and like" or blabbing about useless info and bs, extremely well put together.
This video was so good I just spent 2-3 times longer than the runtime just taking notes and rewinding to re-watch clips. Absolutely incredible. I need more videos like this. I’m lucky to have found this explainer
Another sight correction, the engine had fork and blade connecting rods instead of separate connecting rods that are shown in the video other than that this is an amazing video and i love your work :)
It's crazy how such a complex piece of engineering has almost completely been lost to time. I can't imagine the expertise that must have been required to operate and maintain these locomotives. I wonder how much training railroad engineers needed.
Thank You so much for this in-depth look at the overall design of these fantastic planes! There is so much more than I realised! Very interesting indeed! That firing gear is most ingenious, what thought went into that piece of technology, marvelous!
What a wonder. Humans are capable of these unimaginable feats of engineering while still being used for the destruction of other human beings. How sarcastic. But still, this is jaw-dropping. Beautiful
I'm sure this will be another informative and excellently produced video, but I feel the need to point out a very minor error at 1:01. 600,000 kg, not 6 million kg. That'd be 6000 metric tons, the mass of a modern frigate.
