Monsters and Whatnot was originally meant to be a variety channel where I made monsters across a vast array of mediums. I have niched down slightly to Chaos conversions/kitbashes with some D&D/Pathfinder terrain and kitbashes sprinkled in. I'll occasionally drop a drawing video or holiday-specific build(I love me some Halloween!) but that is what you can expect from this channel. Hopefully viewers can take tricks/techniques/inspiration from my videos and adapt them to create projects of their own.
That looks awesome!! I'd definitely like to see some tutorials for making cheap Halloween masks, I've thought out making a Warhammer Chaos/Manhunt crossover inspired mask (like one of those SkinZ masks with some Khornate stuff on it)
That looks awesome!!! The Gorilla Glue & water foam is an excellent idea, I’m going to have to play around with that on something! (I also wholeheartedly think ye SHOULD put spooky pumpkins in the woods behind your house, just on principle.) 😆
I love this idea of making pumpkins, I already have most of the stuff since I do a lot of art and sculpting too so itll be so fun to make custom pumpkins instead of buying one and struggling or getting one of those boring factory made ones. These will look so sick on the porch lol
That’s a really cool collection you’ve built up!!! I totally get feeling the “oh, I wasted time on this and on that” when you’re creating, but it’s all experimentation and learning, so I feel like it’s all worthwhile in the end! The Oni one is amazing, I’m looking forward to what next year’s iterations might be!!! 😄

This is an awesome revamp that really leaves no doubt who this dread belongs to! The only change I could think of is adding the old chaos vehicle gun barrels with the snarling maws in place of the las barrels, but otherwise perfect imo
You can get more clearance for the assault cannon by clipping the belt off the bottom, that way you don't need to extend the torso so much. Seeing as the ammo box it attached directly to the weapon already the belt is arguably unnecessary. Also for both autocannons I wouldn't put the magazines (not clips) on both sides. One side or the other needs to be an ejection port for the shell casings. Even though I still think bolters using shell casings is stupid.
I had gotten a set of Frostgrave Cultists and I'm thinking if converting them into Chaos Cultists for 40k If I may ask, how do I go about converting them into Chaos Cultists and which Chaos God should I dedicate them to?
I think the main thing to convert them into 40k chaos cultists is to get the weapon loadouts correct. The rules have changed at least twice since this video was made so I'd look up what a legal loadout is first, then source the weapon bits which can come from anywhere as long as they look "close enough" to the specified weapon. As far as what chaos god to choose, I'm partial to Khorne or Nurgle but it's really your preference of course. You can either add bits of iconography to dedicate them to a specific god or just paint them with a god-specific color scheme. Hope that helps. :)
I've had the whole project done for quite a while but haven't made a video due to lack of interest and being preoccupied with other projects. Maybe I should finish the series with one big video?
