In this video, I finish all the outstanding terrain projects I've made that have been collecting dust. Outstanding as in partially completed, not as in exceptionally good. I weather some shipping containers. A few different kinds of storage tanks are made with some tips on building walkways. And to wrap things up, I make a dirt battlemat.

I've been experimenting using oil paint washes. So far they look great! I've used the wood stain on miniature and had some positive results. Excellent work. I also get random calls that usually start with random numbers being spoken...I black out and find myself in the most random places =)

Oil washes are great! I didn't mention in the video but the the yellow and green shipping containers got oil washes initially before I weathered them with wood stain. I need to use them on terrain a bit more before I work up the courage to try them on miniatures. That's unfortunate about the phone calls :)

Yo wait, does your Helbrute have chainsword fingers? That might be the tightest shit I've seen all day lmao. But for real man, the dressed up terrain looks great together. Makes me want to make some kind of photography stage for my mini showcase videos so I don't just use a boring photo booth and turntable. Also glad to see more people making their own battle mats. After seeing multiple results about its durability, it makes me feel a lot better about making one myself in the future with the same method. Overall great shit dude, looking forward to seeing more! Also might steal the logo graffiti idea in the future lmao

Thanks! The driving force behind getting all this stuff made was to try do more than just the lightbox and turntable showcases. I still need to do something about the background. Either paint the wall or make different backdrops to put behind the table. There's a lot of room for customization with battlemats I hope to explore in the future. By all means steal the graffiti idea, I'd enjoy seeing what you come up with!

@@MonstersAndWhatnot Maybe a few background props and a skybox background of sorts? Could be effective, it's kind of how video games do it
