Hey guys, I really enjoyed your van build and got some great tips from you. Your custom running boards with the flip up step is totally awesome. You guys are very handy. How did you fab the step to click in place while driving? Very cool
Just put one of these on my Ram Promaster 3500 and my build helper insisted on putting the wires outside the vehicle so they hang down below the outside unit - he had to fabricate a box to put around the unit. It works but isn't an efficient use of space. I love your solution.
Awesome build. Im new to overlanding. Im on a budget and didnt want to use my pickups for overlanding. I researched the Excursion and Suburban for my rig. I opted for the Suburban Z71 because the price of $2,300 was hard to pass on. Combined with more room to work on in the engine compartment if issues arise, the electronic 4x4 and factory G80 limited slip. We don’t have the awesome off road scenery on the east coast. So i will definitely be taking a trip out west for vacation time. Im keeping it simple, removed the seats and threw in a mattress for now. Will get a cooler and other supplies. May even get a fishing kayak one day.
Ally and Lance, PLEASE explain the Ford you have ( make, model ) ? Do you two build on other vans including other makes, models ? For a similar build how much will it cost ? JUST Beautiful, you and your BUILD !
I saw your Van for sale locally and am excited to be watching your new tiny home build videos! You inspired my wife and I to build our own econoline van and might even inspire us to build a tiny home and some land nearby😂. This part of Idaho is amazing and just north are tons of hot springs and campsites. Excited to see the rest of this build!
Great project!! Love the design and layout so far. Smart move getting into some rentals. There are 2 small houses next to us that sold as 1 because they share a basement. Now it's 3 vrbo rentals. We just bought our house. It was built in 1924. Same family had it all these year. Sold it to a house flipper. He painted and had new electric service put in. Couldn't sell it. We got a great deal. Plus a great deal of work. It's a beautiful home. Structural integrity is great. Formal living room, dining room, foyer. Huge basement. Big root cellar. Garage. Central Air, sprinkler system. A little over a half mile to actual downtown. Been putting in the 15 hour days for over a month. Just watched part 2 then i watched part 1. So behind on RU-vid. I watch several channels. Mostly building channels. Houses, vans, bus builds. Good to see you guy's and the dogs from the previous video. Which for you was the 2nd video. Look forward to watching this tiny house build. ❤❤❤❤
