I think what you had going on worked was an interesting stile like random black work tattoo are something. I would have gone with rust oleum rusty metal primer I paint a lot of shipping containers seems to hold up well. looks good been watching your motor swap videos am doing a motor swap in my rig got the old one out yesterday 6.0 power stroke E350 cutaway man they are a tight squeeze

Good luck with the motor it sure was a big project for us! And no kidding crazy they squeeze the diesels in the vans! The paint did work but definitely not what we where going for.

@@AllyandLance if you decide to repaint it at some point tractor supply has some strong enamel. I used single stage automotive paint with a blower box hplv but it is possible to role it on with a mole heir roller. god speed on your adventure

Valspar Ultra Acrylic Enamel "Self Cleaner", We've taken out some trees and bushes with it this week, and so far not a scratch! I mean we opted for this because we want to be able to easily touch it up since we know we are going to be tough on it

That was an awesome job. 7 days well spent IMO. The way you two take the van apart and put her back together shows you and us that no matter what on the road you can break it down and rebuild it wherever when ever. Happy travelling ahead!

painting vehicles in imperfect circumstances is always interesting to see. I have to paint my van outdoors as well, was hard to get the weather to cooroperate but I got most all of it done before winter but now I have to wait till spring again until i can do the last side.

Looking Amazing Guy's It has to be such a Satisfying feeling of Accomplishment Getting to this point. Ally goes up into the Mountains and is afraid of the height of the Van Hummm how funny Ally. I think you are Braver than you think. Lance the Bumper flairs are looking Great blends in well with the fenders. Loving it Guys it has been a Long time coming. Nice color choice too it just looks incredible and wondering how many times you will leave the Van only to come Back thinking where's the Van ? Ha ha Hardly recognize it was ever anything else. OK adult language here your van is so******* sick awesome looking OMG I am so freaking jealous I found a van that looks like yours even with the roof raise and because I was being cheap I didn't get it he sold it to somebody else it wasn't 4 wheel drive but it had a lift kit on it it was perfect but yours the color is wow the black rhino is tight you guys did such a freaking awesome job on that van. Great job painting & rhino lining the van. The van looks dope AF🤘 What do you have going around the fiberglass top securing it to the metal of the van? (the black rhino liner on it looks good too) I’ve got the traditional butyl tape and RV track going around mine and it’s already crapping out after only a year from being in the Texas heat & rain down South here by the gulf. I feel like we’re gonna meet on the road one of these days … I was in AZ passing through when you guys were shooting this video. I’m back in TX now

Oh dang bummer we missed you! I actually just have stainless self tapers through the fiberglass into the van metal on the inside its all silicone Then we put a thick coat of rhino liner over to help seal as well seems to be ok so far!

Your van looks great! I just picked up a E250 Hightop Handicap Van and plan to paint it- what was the finish/style paint you chose? Did you go with satin or matte (for the green finish) Also, how is it holding up so far?

Guyyyyys! She’s complete! It looks pretty sweet! Love the colour you chose and the way you broke it up on the top with the rhino liner! And the grill and bumper! Damn! You must be so pleased! Also it cracks me up that hank literally is always in the way lol he’s cute! Glad he’s on the mend! Can’t wait for the adventures to begin!… what’s did yas name it?!
