This page started as a personal page, but over the last 18 months, I've fine-tuned the information I've wanted to post here...and as such, some of the videos will be removed and some point or another and I will be focusing more on product reviews and hunting videos as I have become associated with O'Neill Ops and the "Predator Hunting: SUPPRESSED" line of DVD's.
Check back and ask questions and I'll be sure to update appropriately.
I’d like to test this very setup man…what an awsome soundin cartridge…I load my 6.5prc waypoint with many wicked rds lightest bein the 95gr v max@3600fps with h4350 br-2’s or rem mag primers…I’ve seen 1 ar chambered in 6.5prc and wouldn’t that be a blast…
I love my 243 WSSM. Too bad that caliber didn't gain much popularity. I notice now in Sept2023 that even the reloading dies have been discontinued for it. Glad I bought plenty of ammo for it and the reloading dies back when this caliber first came out! 🙂
Imagine 12 years ago this video was posted how advanced these guys are still this day I got buddy's berly getting suppressors that's awesome plus a wssm they are hard to find these days
You know if you are gonna do cold weather shooting the u.s. Army has ecwcs or extreme cold weather clothing system. I used it in the Arctic stationed in Alaska it kept me nice and comfy even at -60 degrees. Seems like a good investment if you are going to spend extended time in the cold.
I have a Browning in 243 WSSM. Deadly on deer here in Texas. Never understood why the 243 WSSM never made it big time. Since i don't reload I have a difficult time finding ammo.
@@haydenkapiko3191 for me, it came down to bullets. In the 7mm I want to shoot a 180 class bullet and that's not going to happen in a semi-auto, short action mag. With the 6.5, the 143s will be easy and the 147s should work....but there is potential to run 150s.
BlackSnowMedia 150’s in 6.5 saum would make one hell of a combo. I was gonna stick with the 160 Sierra TMK. Should feed easy. 🤙🏽. You should come to eastern Washington. I have thousands of acres to shoot song dogs.
I have a very long eye relief. So I'd like something that takes up minimal real estate on my upper's pic rail I need to push further forward than most. Are there specs on the foot length of this mount? Good video. No doubt this is a very well built mount. I just tossed a lot $ toward my new AR build, and already have a Warne, but will upgrade to the Aadmount as soon as possible.
It just never caught on it's a very fast cartridge. I love it but if you don't reload so hard to find ammo. Plus it's my coyote gun and nobody knows what it is
I see this is quite an old video now, how long did the throat of the barrel last , I'd imagine it'd be comparable to a 243win in that respect from the numbers. Very nice looking rifle btw, I actually initially thought it was a high end ,self built chassised bolt action precision rifle when looking through the thumbnails, great to see your take on the project. The wssm calibres look like they really mean business don't they?
I can see why WInchester discontinued this cartridge. At first I thought it sounded amazing but you are only talking around 100 fps more with 105 grain rounds and only about 50 ft pounds more energy than a regular 243 win. So what's the point?
What's with all the branches and the wire out in front of your bench? Everything out of focus can't see groups on plates . No chronograph data but dam good marksmanship at that range makes me want a243 ssm. Thanks.
So, you are upset or think people are stupid because they can’t tell what caliber it is without seeing what it is chambered? You must be amazing at every rifle that comes into your view how you automatically know what it is chambered in. Tool.
