Got the GPB 18v SC, non DAB version as i always use my iPhone to connect. Very loud and clear, just make sure the volume is up on the phone. Used my old 5AH battery, lasted a few days. Excellent 👍🏼

Good night form the USA. I am first time commenter, but watching your show since february this year and binge atch the previous 2 years since you have started. I would start my first ever comment to say, for too long you all bring out so many quality cordless power tools that we don't get here in the North America. So my question is, when are you going to talk your North American colleagues here In the United States with supporting them fully with supplying them all your professional Cordless Power Tools you released to date & also the new ones as you all released through your new tools Livestreams, also convincing & encouraging them to do Livestreams monthly like you all do it too? It is frustrating that we don't get most of your quality Cordless Power tools That you all already have in Europe, Globally & we generally do not even know about any of them, either, until i discovered your wonderful livestreams. Could to talk your American colleagues here in America for us to do better marketing and & also assisting them in acquiring, supplying of all your cordless power tools in abundance to catch back up with the rest of the competition here in America,because you are losing market share here, as most folks here in America do not know about your huge range of cordless products? Sorry for this being so long, just was disappointed,but also optimistic, at least knowing you have a wide range, due to finding out about your livestreams that i wish you could convince your Colleagues here in America to do the same monthly livestreams for us Americans here too. You said the 12V Nailer would be a Pin Nailer, so I suggesting 18Ga, 23Ga and same sizes for Stapler too in 12V? When would the First Fix Nailer be coming out?
I am glad you mentioned that you all are making a dedicated Right Angled Drill for Electricians and would suggest that it be a keyless Chuck type, comes in different sizes drills, like three-eighths inch, half inch, three-quarter inch, where the larger 2 sizes of the 3 i stated, be BITURBO Brute Power versions?
just got the new gdr18v-220c imported to the US and it immediately became my favorite impact driver you guys did an amazing job on this one cant wait to see more updated tools in the future
I personally use a semi strong magnet incased in plastic called a stud buddy, works a treat, Simply run it over the wall or ceiling in a “S” motion and it picks up the screws attaching the sheets to say studs/beams and gives you a good indication of where they are and what direction, Fantastic for me as a sparky when doing spotlights or general fishing cables over (although i don’t think it would pick up pipes etc behind plasterboard or other materials) still yet to use one of these Bosch devices ! Maybe in the future 😅
When you introduce polish tool like GPO series but battery powered? I'm confused because every big manufacturer has that tool except Bosch. You still develop drills, vacumms and more useless tools, but many of them is albo unavailable like polish machine, air compressor, chainsaw, power adapter to Gas vacuum, water pressure. Really I need to know when because I need that tools and think to change manufacturer to another one - bosch is far behind 😢
@@tznutza if this year it's a good news, but it is a Bosch so is possible to release in next decade. This morning I checked and even Parkside has bigger battery powered tools portfolio that Bosch - it's a yellow card to Bosch.
Hey Guys, we need a measuring laser that will reach past 150 meters..we want it with the green laser...we bought some glm 400 red laser units but we want to see if there is an option with green..
I really like the Bosch 12v system. But it needs a serious update to brushless. For example the jigsaw. And tools are missing in the lineup. I needed a plunge router, so I was forced to buy into another system. It became Einhell (the TP range is certainly not bad), but I rather kept it with only Bosch 12v. A real Boschhammer would be much appreciated. Metabo and Dewalt did it, why not?
It's currently July 2024, 1 month shy of 2 years since this video was released. Still waiting for an 18v router in the US. I do have the 12v trim router though. Great tool.
Exceptional video. I have never seen a product video in the tools market with such in-depth information highlighting the technical ascpects so well and with such accurate use of units such as Ah, Wh, W, A. Also, the highlighting of the internal resistance etc enables you to decide which battery is needed. Very, very good. I almost regret having bought a hammer drill with a cord recently, but alas. And, by the way, being in this Amp alliance is also a leadershop move. I would be worried if I were Makita.
In 8Ah and 12Ah batteries parallel cells are directly connected together. Do small cylindrical cells in parallel slowly fail over time together or can one cell fail suddenly(only due to normal cycling without taking piercing or impact in consideration, ifall cells are matched by model, capacity and internal resistance)? Large battery builds that use prismatic LiFePo4 cells often use separate series packs(no parallel cells at all) with dedicated BMS for each and only such series packs are connected in parallel with a parallel balancer, to make sure that in case of failure of one of the cells it would not short out all the remaining cells in parallel.
Hello! Does Bosch BMS permanently lock itself(does not allow charge or discharge if you replace all cells or a single cell, like laptops do) when single cell is overdischarged or the battery goes above certain amount of cycles?
still waiting for a rothenberger amp share vacuum pump for aircon installs. Idk why Bosch doesn’t make one as they already make aircon reclaim units which are just more complex pumps.
I’m still using non pro 1.3 and 1.5 Ah batteries from 12 years ago. I also have a new 2.5 Ah battery. The old ones are almost impossible to remove from the tools (drill, hedge trimmer, strimmer), and I’m not exaggerating. The new one is better.
I will second some of the other commenters - I am a union tradesman in the States and I just purchased the GNB18V-12, but other cordless nailers of the different types are not available here, or they have not yet been released. I would buy them if I could (and not have to pay the exorbitant shipping costs from outside the US).
This was a long time coming, and somehow it's still underwhelming. We've spent all this money on -C versions of tools, with bluetooth modules in them, and still we need to strap a transmitter to the tool.
It's unreasonable to label a blade as "Metal" if it's not designed to cut through stainless steel. Your naming is very misleading. People should ask for a refund or consider a collective lawsuit against the company for such deception.
