there is a secret path next to stormvail castle that let's you skip the dungeon entirely. after that you just kill either rennala, radahn or ryckard and then you can enter leyndell
Here's a comment explaining how Talisman Pouches work. I can confirm this, personally. [1] You effectively start with one Talisman Pouch - technically, zero pouches and one talisman slot, but it's easier to rationalize as starting with one pouch. [2] You gain a second Talisman Pouch when you defeat Margit the Fell. If you skip Margit (by skipping Stormveil Castle entirely), then this Talisman Pouch drops from Morgott. This is because, as seen in the video, Margit ceases to exist once Morgott has been defeated. [3] You gain the third Talisman Pouch from Enia in the Roundtable Hold, after defeating two Shardbearers. For most people, this will probably be Godrick and Rennala, but any combination works - Rykard, Radahn, Mohg, Godrick, or Rennala. Yes, Mohg and Rykard can be fought before Morgott, without glitches. No, I won't explain how. I don't know if it's possible to get this pouch from Enia by defeating Morgott and/or Malenia (skipping the two Shardbearer lock on Leyndell via the Tower of Return/Divine Bridge invader exploit) - if it's possible to get it from either of them, Malenia definitely requires Morgott. I heavily doubt this works with Maliketh, not only for the same reasons as Malenia, but because it also destroys the Roundtable Hold. So, again, the requirement to get the third Talisman Pouch from Enia is to just speak with her after getting any two Great Runes. They don't even have to be "activated." [4] You gain the fourth Talisman Pouch from the Lord's Apparition (Golden Godfrey). This boss is not conventionally skippable without major glitches, which means you cannot fight Morgott with less than 2 Great Runes.
Some of the comments fail to realize that Margit isnt actually Morogt, or at least its the popular theory. He's more of projection of Morgot's form and power in another location. So killing Morgot would remove his power to project himself. The idea Morgot would also be there in person is unlikely due to Omen (especially one of Royalty) being seen out in public being something forbidden. And I feel like Morgot woukd like to avoid Omenkillers. I mean hell there's Omenkillers IN Lyndel. Got annoyed seeing comments saying "So nothing happened?".
Non mi aspettavo fossi Italiano, interessante vedere questi video anche qua da noi. Molto apprezzato da parte di From Software a pensare anche a questa possibilità
Hmmm, I was sure I wasnt the first to document this exact thing and had a quick look on YT but typical of me I overlooked your video sir and literally only found it after I posted my version. 😅
I think he doesn't mention him because he wouldn't be given one of those spectral thrones to represent him. As Morgot and Mohg are Omen born. While them being brothers may have something to do with it as well, both of them and their lineage was hidden from the world. Omens born of royalty are hidden underground and get to keep their Omen horns.
