One guy and his camera. After many years as host and producer of a Public Access show called 'God's Masterpiece Christian TV of Southern New England' I got an idea to produce stories about my hobby, Classic Cars and walking through salvage yards. We travel all over the country searching for old salvage yards and private collections for 'walkabouts'. We have also begun the restoration of a 56 Chevy convertible that was wrecked in about 1980 and put in storage. It, plus others that I find are being featured on Bring Em Back To Life'.
That's the only junk yard I use in Sevier county. Besides all the cool old stuff I buy my LS engines from there with the harness and ecm. Thanx for sharing.
I've always been amazed. Just how many new trucks the beds and other parts are removed from so they can be used for their specific purpose. Is there a 100 to places across country selling new takeoffs. Around Western Tennessee in that area and a couple places in Georgia and Alabama I believe 500 bucks for the complete bed tail lights everything. Your face to shop around. I didn't catch if they said how much I got out of these beds
Hi Denny. Ich restauriere jetzt gerade mein Chrysler Windsor Deluxe 1955. Ist das möglich bei euch ein Hupenring, Bremskraftverstärker und die Chromringe für die Scheinwerfer zu finden? Danke. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Michel.
Hi Denny, great video, when you go down the 89 to Glendale , you'll foud the Chevy mann. This is a great man, I meet him in 2000 and never vorget this meeting!! The first home on the left side with a lot of old stuff and also a orange sqare body is his sign. As I can see on google map, he is still threre. I would appreciato to met him again.... Best regards Ron
Been with you for years. Originally under a different RU-vid channel. I'm always impressed with your straight honest approach. This guy has some great truck cabs and other items too..
It's hard to believe they are still out there. It's like Disn ey W orld for old guys and some gals! Just bring water and in some places Oxygen! LOL(Amanda's Collection).
If you can't see exactly what you are looking for on a vehicle from my video just call Leon and ask him. I have provided his phone number in the video.
Sir I am a huge fan of the Tri 5's....I have always Loved the 56 the most. Been looking for a good rolling 56 4dr post. Just because most people only use them for parts
Answer me this, why would Trump go to prison ? Only the media and a few badly educated DEI people have the strange notion he broke a law .He is a saint compared with the present crew in the White house. 😁😁
Hi Willy. In the next few months we'll be traveling to Tri-Five Nationals in Bowling Green, KY then to Branson, MO and Arkansas in August. In Sept. we're heading to FLA then to North CAROLINA TWICE IN OCTOBER. Other than that we'll be quiet!
26:50, Austin America, known in the UK as an 1100 or 1300 MkII .Very advanced cars ,with front wheel drive, fluid suspension and were a good car let down by the union activity in British Leyland ,who openly sabotaged the products.
Missed not having you around. Hopefully all is good for you and yours. I remember going back 6 years and US conversion on the phone 📱. Now I'm going to sit and watch the episode 👍
Hope you continue to heal and feel better. Love watching your shows! I used to go to the junkyards with my father in-law when he was alive and I enjoyed looking at all the old cars and listening to him talk about them and helping him to find and get parts for his Cadillac’s.
It's good to see you, you're looking well but take things easy, please use a atv or something similar to get around places, just to keep things at ease and less stressful. Off topic, I'm liking the new merch, your t-shirt you're wearing is awesome.
Thank you, I will. Some yard owners drive me around to be safe. I don't ask for a ride I do jump in if they offer. They invite my wife to ride too! A lot of really nice people.
Hi Denny, I'm so glad to hear from you, you're doing well, I hat no jdea waht's going on in the past time, but I'm even happy you are doing better! Best wishes for you and your wife 🙏
Hey, thanks. I didn't know if I would be back but my wife and I love to travel and a note from Junkcar Willy (Also a RU-vidr) really picked me up by calling me his hero and the King of Junkyard Videos.
Glad you are OK Denny. I'm glad that you knew all the signs. Have you thought about getting a side by side or a 4 wheeler to go through the junkyards on? I had a buddy who's grandpa had a heart attack about 10 years ago and he used a golf cart to ride to check the mail and check on his animals until he got better. Take it easy buddy hope you feel better soon
Thanks my friend. Some of the yard owners do offer to drive us around so I ride with them and just hop on and off to get close-ups. It's safer for them insurance wise too.
THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING ME..I AM SO GLAD I MADE YOU FEEL GOOD. I WILL COME TO YOU WHENEVER YOU ARE READY. YOU ARE A LEGEND. YOU HAVE YEARS IN FRONT OF YOU
I'll agree with that. I'm just trying to be best I can be as a Christian who loves old junk without preaching. I am an ordained Chaplain serving my volunteer Fire Department so the 'Junkyard Chaplain' just seemed natural.
Remember -Steve Magnante almost died from walking thru Salvage Yards We love the shows Never knew it could be life-threatening- Of course I know how dangerous these places are Been in many a dangerous scrapyard
The only show I taped that was hard on me was at 10,000 feet above sea level because the air is so thin and I couldn't breath after walking around for a couple of hours. That show is Amanda's Collection which now has 948,000 views! AND the camera mic picked up my breathing!
