I'm a storyteller. Humans have been telling stories since the very beginning. Our ancestors used to sit around the campfires in the evening and listen to that old man sharing his tale. I'm that guy. Except, I'm not that old yet and we're no longer sat around a campfire. I'm in front of my camera and you're in front of your screen. But the love and passion for storytelling remains. I have really enjoyed your 'Notes from Nepal'. I was dragged around the Annapurna Circuit by my partner over 20 years ago, at that time, the road went no further than Besi Shahar! You have captured the beauty of this region so well and have put into words many of the thoughts I had doing the trek. Two decades later, we are about to return to Nepal for our 4th time - this country does that - keeps calling you back. We look forward to seeing your further adventures in Nepal.

Hello Josh First of all thank you for visiting Nepal. Really love your style of narrating the story. It reminds me of trekking Annapurna circuit back in 2019. You could have gone to hot water spring in Jagat. 😂 Lastly Thank you man. Thank you for making my day watching your videos.
I just wanted to say thank you as I enjoyed film on the Anna Purna circuit, I will be doing the same route as you guys in October and your detailed account of the journey was very informative, interesting and to a degree intimidating, all the same thanks for a job well done.
Found your videos yesterday and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing this amazing place again through your channel…Thank you…but Wow! Things have really changed in 26 years! You encountered some luxury…. I did it at the age of 48 with a friend…no guides…it was a life changing experience. After Nepal we took buses, tuk tuks and trains to Varanassi, India staying for 6 weeks on the Ganges…the onto Calcutta by train (12 hours in the cheap seats). Finally onto Thailand as it was getting to hot in India 110*. Stayed in Thailand for another month…then back to the states…Trip of a lifetime..5 solid months. So thanks I’m flooded with wonderful memories.
I have watched a fair share of youtube videos about the ABC trek, and most of them have been more informative type videos showcasing the beauty of the trek . But what makes your videos special is the fact that you have shared with us your personal and emonational experience of the trek and not just the informative side. Due to which I feel it stands out from the hundreds of other videos on youtube about ABC trek. Wish u all the very best for your future projects. You have set the bar very high for yourself now 😁

It’s midnight, I have to get up early to cover the little Legues World Series again early, I cannot stop watching. OMFG this is maybe one of the best docu series I’ve seriously ever seen. Period. Very been shooting professionally for 30 years and I’m in awe. Insightful commentary, exquisite cinematography, and engaging production. Fucking epic, dude…. Dave K

Great series Josh. I’ve seen dozens of videos of the ACT, but yours is the best shot and narrated I’ve seen yet. Hope you’ve got the mountain bug and decide to return to do some of the other routes in Nepal or in the Indian Himalayas like Kashmir or Ladakh. I’m from the UK, but live in Taiwan and keep going back to India, but am hopefully heading to Nepal this year. Well done! Look forward to the next one.

I absolutely 100% have the mountain bug...genuinely think about these places every day. It's a question of _when_ I go back, not if. Kashmir and Ladakh also look fascinating, so it can end up being quite a tricky choice 😂 Taiwan is also on the list, it looks stunning over there

Niiice! I would love to walk further all the way to Nayapul...there was a lot of breathtaking views on that side on the circuit but we didn't have the time. Thanks for taking the time to watch :)
Beautifully put. Nepal being such a small country (about the size of Tennesse) is blessed with such diverse landscapes, people and culture. Its truly a heaven on earth.
Thoroughly enjoyed your documentary series. You managed to make this very personal (Which adds much joy to this as you are clearly a very sincere and genuine person) and unique, yet still capturing the magic thriving in that area of the world.
