You're in the right place for all things fishing! 🎣 I left the uk in search for some serious fishing, as I travel I'll be putting myself to the test, fishing for those once in a life time fishing exsperiences, targeting those big hitters that over seas fishing has to offer. I plan to fish as many locations as possible and learn traditional and modern techniques. The uk is where I call home and it offers lots of different fishing join me as I fish from the shore ,kayak and boat.

I rarely head east to fish, but I'll have to give this mark a go over the summer. BTW try Pendine for Tope. It's an easy launch, just paddle offshore a bit and anchor up. Fishing onto sand, dead easy. Plenty of tope there at the moment.
Nice video fella, they’ve been catching mackerel at the knap this week from the shore on feathers. Shame the anchor and the swells cut your session short. Thanks for sharing bud.
I did see, all the settled weather pushing them right up, need to get out on the tope soon, work has taken over recently 🎣 Thanks for your continued support!
i love fishing man, theres so many different places you can do it and everyone does it in such different and unique ways with their own styles and their own twists for the different kind of fish your targeting its awesome.
Yup love my multipliers ! To be honest with you I haven’t used fix spools for years while shore fishing but I can’t see any disadvantages other than the odd bird nest. Yes I use mono mainly to compete with the snaggy ground I mostly fish over. I wouldn’t change to braid just for the odd session. On the kayak I use braid to target the smaller species but other than that mono works for me.
Hi John, firstly thanks for watching! A day ticket is 8,000 baht per day per angler. If you have plans to see more of Thailand and only plan to fish a day or two I’d recommend the day ticket, instead of staying at the resort because it’s in the middle of nowhere where and will be a 30 min drive into town.
If possible could you please do a video for complete beginners on how to safely unhook and handle different species. I've been a couple of times with my boy now and still learning the basics
Hello, coworker! Thanks for this document by you. Wonderful waters. Do you need a licence in Cambodia for this sort of fishing? Can anyone add this information?
Thanks for watching mate, to the best of my knowledge you do need a license in Cambodia, in fact it seems pretty lawless ! The only rules I found in Asia was no fishing in conservation zones but even then the locals love a fish !
Good video. Knapp is one spot I haven't fished along there due to the pebbles. In relation to your statement about starry and common smoothound, you're right, while there is a Common SH and Starry SH, for decades it was believed the one with spots was a starry and the one without was a common. In fact they were both Starry SH, and the Common SH, while it does exist, doesn't inhabit the British isles. Quite interesting.
Cracking video fella you was bagging big time. The Knap is one of the few marks where your got a chance of the BC Ray slam in one session. The Hounds were going well too. Thanks for sharing bud.
Another cracking session mate! Night/day difference between summer sport and winter cod fishing! With each BC vid I’m edging closer to the kayak way of life 😂🤘🤟keep them coming dude.
Thanks mate! Although catching a nice cod for tea is a great achievement, the summer species are a lot of fun! Join the yak life, you’ll never go back !
Don’t know what it is but they just annoy me 😂 I’d defiantly be up for that, I’ll let you know when I’m planning a trip down your way ! Nice speaking to you Saturday too !
With the water being around 11-13c in the channel hyperthermia would set in around a hour. There’s also many more factors to include but as long as I’m buoyant I’d hope the many life boat stations along the coast would pick me up in time.
@@JWAFISHING So with some luck you may survive, sounds worth it to me. Of course even if you do, you will need hospital treatment, you wont be walking away from it, for sure. Get yourself a drysuit or at very least a wetsuit, the NHS is burdened enough as it is.
Very good session/content, especially when you're feeling crap. Some very good whiting too. I've cast a few lures on the beach there when on holiday, had a few mackerel and small bass. All the best pal. Arthur. Whitley bay.
Hello bro, the cliff behind you at 8.45 that is a big fish point. My friend got a trophy there but you need to go early morning when the sun rising. We have shore fishing team in Cambodia. Hope to fishing you someday. Enjoy🎉
Cracking vid mate just subbed. Kayak fished stackpole twice in the past for tope. Didn’t get any but had some huge thorn back rays. Gonna have a go next weekend myself but undecided stackpole tope or further west pollock and bass.
@@JWAFISHING yes mate fished it loads around green scar. Quite often just stay in and around the cliffs as well casting slow jigs and caught loads of pollock and wrasse. I’ll be there loads in the summer. Good luck on your next tope outing mate
@@JWAFISHING not too bad mate. Nice and easy launch can float the yak down the estuary. Can get a bit choppy out by green scar but I find easterlies affect it worst. If u down there in summer mate drop me a message and I’ll get u on loads of marks in Solva 👍
Thanks mate, I’m using a 12-20 ugly stik, a 12-20 icon and a 6-12lb Ron Thompson solid core. My reels are diawa slosh 20 and 30. I also use some cheap shimano reel but looking to buy another slosh.
