I see you have no cold water protective clothing. In an event of an unforeseen difficultly, do you think you would survive long enough to be recused?

With the water being around 11-13c in the channel hyperthermia would set in around a hour. There’s also many more factors to include but as long as I’m buoyant I’d hope the many life boat stations along the coast would pick me up in time.

@@JWAFISHING So with some luck you may survive, sounds worth it to me. Of course even if you do, you will need hospital treatment, you wont be walking away from it, for sure. Get yourself a drysuit or at very least a wetsuit, the NHS is burdened enough as it is.
