Useful guide. Done the job but count shows old total. I'd expected that the camera would sense a new unit and show 0 or the count would be in the new part. Obviously you can't normally reset the count.
Everything is fine until you take high-speed shots and the shutter-curtain synchronization adjustment is not made and the photographs come out in black or with black bands or lower or higher light. If you do not explain that a software adjustment is necessary and that the adjustment software is not available, then I have a camera that cannot be used in high speed mode and I have lost the cost of the replacement and the time spent repairing it because a camera like this It cannot be delivered to a client or friend. ¿Why don't you indicate how to make a shutter synchronization adjustment? or that an adjustment station is needed.

Flying an FPV drone. Is it a very difficult task to keep the IBIS of the a7s3 from moving? Is there any way to fix IBIS without disassembling it? If I shoot the camera without the sensor inside it with a silicone gun without disassembling it, will the IBIS be fixed and the camera work? I'd like to find the simplest idea to fix IBIS without disassembling it! FX6 without IBIS is too expensive!

Wow.. I didn't know it was this easy to remove the 1st cover where you can see the board.. My A7riii has a damaged slot 1 so I think will just buy a new card slot and then replace it by my own.. I have an electronic background but i haven't repaired something for about a decade because i shifted career so this one is very helpful. Cheers sir!.
I just bought it second hand and it has 73k count it is still a good condition for 3-4 years ? I only photograph for hobby ... meanwhile the original owner use it for work maybe that why the shutter is high
literally just completed this repair. thank you for this. i ordered the shutter on ebay for US$130 and reapir took around 1.5 hours. much more economical and faster than a repair from sony or switching cameras
Thank you very much for this video, I followed your directions and was able to save lots of money by just buying the shutter assembly. I placed each screw on a piece of tape sticky side up in the order of removal and that helped quite a bit. The ribbon cables definitely need patience and care if it's your first time like me.

You are a talented guy. I had a stuck shutter. I took it apart and moved the shutter. It seems stiff. Everything is still in a plastic container. How much would you charge me to have a look at it, give me your opinion and put it back together. It might need a new shutter.
Can you tel me how you change the mount of the eyecup? It looks that it is attached to the back of the camera. Can it be replaced independetly of the camrea?
I'm a little worried about the shutter speed of 4000 in 4k with my Sony zve10 I use camera for videos and I use 4000 shutter speed in daylight Can it do any damages to shutter ? Or effect the camera life I mean something is moving 4 thousand times in one second that's why I'm worried about it
I know this isnt an a6000 but if you could help me figure outa problem im having with mine. The shutter curtain closes and does not return unless i turn it off and remove battery... however it will not go back immediately i must leave t alone for a while before the curtain resets and opens back up. i have contemplated opening and fixing myself but i heard simply replacing will not solve the problem because it requires some kind of calibration with software available only to repair centers. would you recommend i replace it myself i have all the tools and sufficient experience with electronics to be confident in the replacement however the calibration with dedicated software is what has held me back.

Anyone can replace items in modern cameras. Just like mac computers. The only go one way. Not easy to mess up. Don’t be discouraged and stop paying $100s if you can do it yourself. Hardest part are the flex cables but once you know how to properly disconnect them you are golden.

Kak kerja di servis center mana ya? Kamera ilce-7rm3a tidak tajam hasil nya.. dibagian kanan & kiri terasa blur.. saya tes dengan bukaan f4 sampai -f7 masih tidak bisa tajam,saya coba lensa dan setingan sama di a7iii dan hasilnya normal.. apakah sensornya yg bermasalah?
