Well done on "fable". Yea she's fantastic & loved your reaction & analysis. Loren preceded her on Bgt then on AGT with that version of over the rainbow & give her her blessing to nod to it having been through the experience the year previous. It's so lovely & I hope they collaborate. Also she gives credit to Annabel Williams I think is her last name the Bgt vocal coach academy with helping her achieve there
WOW! Just WOW! Besides having an absolutely beautiful voice...she gets that buzzer thing for her expressionism alone. Don't watch much tv...sorry. Her talent is soo superior!
Your face speaks volumes. The admiration that you show towards him is genuine and lovely. It shows how you really enjoy his music and style. Glad you reacted to this. His music is something special. Thank you!
How ‘Blue October’ is not one of the most successful bands in the world is an absolute mystery to me. People will buy the crappiest albums and go to the crappiest shows while they pay no attention to great music. Baffling.
Love it, a great take on one of my favorite songs! Very haunting and beautiful, I really felt that! Very different from the sharp critical Chris Isaak version!
I will give you my personal experience with early Heart! In the seventies before they moved to Vancouver and started releasing their own music, they played bars in the Seattle area as a Led Zeppelin cover band, and you can see that influence in their music!
Did you miss her first audition, where she got the golden buzzer? It's a must-see, particularly seeing her personality when they talk to her. I'm going to look for your reaction to that. Rob
Bjork is in a universe of herself, she is out of this world. I love how she is just herself and doesn't care about what the mass thinks! Go Bjork, you be you, you are very good at it!!
I have much respect for your analysis, I would love to do more Angelina, especially her age 12 How Great Thou Art where she sings almost the entire song in Elvis's original key! It is so interesting how she can comfortably sing at that low range at such a young age! It certainly helps explain why she can add so much warmth and weight to her singing!
Will you please do Kalandra. They are a band from Norway. Lead singer Katrine Stenbekk. You will love her. Try "Slow Motion" live at Gildehallen. Newest is "State of the World" She is Aurora like. Kalandra can do very ethereal or can rock it out like "Bardaginn"
It's not just that she has got an amazing voice, she has the most wonderful personality and is beautiful inside and out, that makes her radiate this when she sings.
What it must have been like to be in that audience. WOW!! All 3 of Sydnie's performances were Outstanding, but this is my favorite. In fact, it's my all time favorite vocal performance on any talent show---EVER! Humble, self-deprecating, incredibly funny, and beutiful inside and out. FYI In 17 years of BGT, no female singer had ever won. And I'd be surprised if the vote count was close. She is simply A Voice for the Ages!!! Great reaction, Beth. 💕
😮Wow! Good to know … she IS so amazing! Truly wish in my lifetime (hurry SYDNIE! ) to attend her even just one of her upcoming concerts! Could you PLEASE let SYDNIE know - a lot of us around the world, I guess, need her to “LET’s ‘AVE IT!” ❤❤❤
Wow such thoughtful analysis, love it! A lot of people think Angelina Jordan copied her style from Amy Winehouse, when really they both model their style from Billie and also Elvis!
She actually sang Loren Allred's rendition of this song (that was who was singing it in the Golden Buzzer video, if you didn't know). Loren is her idol and gave Sydnie her blessing to sing this version! :) Great reaction as always!
Loren Allred needs a little credit for Over The Rainbow. Sydnie talks about doing Loren’s version. Sydnie has Shirley Bassey and Ethel Merman voice and performance qualities. Sydnie is a show stopping performer. I think she may have auditioned for the wrong parts in the West End. Love her!👍🌹❤️
I love your analysis! I've seen dozens of reactions but you are the first to really explain why I love Sydnie singing these songs so much! I hear Shirley Bassey (Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever) in My Way. Brassy, belty, powerful! She reminds me of Barbra Streisand, too. Thank you for your insight!
🙏Likewise! Same thoughts about Barbra, too! Thank YOU BETH, for putting your genuinely honest reaction - so, we did not just imagine the magic & effect of the gift in her personality & vocals! ❤❤❤
She's a great singer. I cah hear a lot of Celine Dion influence, but she certainly puts her own spin on it. And I loved the nod to the Bruddah Iz version.
