Very impressive, congrats! How about replacing the wedge rudder for a knife style. You could make a spray pickup for the cooling. I bet you could get close to 100mph if you had a little more room 😎
I think 100 mph is on the way , Cozy rc is doing one with narrow sponsons , With luck he can get rid of that snooty running attitude these run at, i always hate that , must scrub off some speed ?
He is a great person! I know him personally and he is a man's man!! He is always willing to help someone out especially with RC Boats! He always answers the phone and will always go into great detail when you need the help. No matter what it is! I'm proud to call him my friend!
Long ago I had Skrabb 38kv. deep V. ( Miami Vice boat). It was 5 ft long with a Picco 90 w/ tuned pipe ( apx 6 HP ) . A 40 ft rooster tail and 100+ MPH. Ran it on the Ohio river. It was hard to tell that it was a model. O-yeah...
beautiful color on it! You def should get into RC boat racing. prolly not a course close to you but make a journey once or twice a year down to NC and race. it adds a whole nother level of fun to boating building something to spec and then hanging out with a bunch other people passionate about it. def eye opening too how deep RC boating rabbit hole actually goes beyond proboats and stuff.

You will find there is only a few Lipo manufacturers in the world. They are done by grade and sold to companies to put there labels on. C rating is a bunch of BS and a marketing strategy.

Very cool. The setting in the original should be in “throttle expo” setting I would think. Usually radios will have an expo setting to change the linear line on steering and throttle.
