I’m transferring from, FNP to psych NP. FNP wasn’t my passion i did the upper end edu classes and adv patho hopefully enough transfer so i cam get my program done in 18 months
Hello the psych dude ☺️! I hope you answered me, I am from Dubai and I am very passionate about studying PMHNP. In order to be sent, the study must be at least half on campus. Is there any university in the USA that teaches PMHNP on campus?

What’s happening is that since COVID, FNPs are obtaining psychiatric certification mainly for the money. That will be denied, but it’s reality. Oversupply is now occurring & oversupply drives the income down. And they’re not negotiating offers because to them it IS better money. FNPs are saturating the market by switching & taking initial offers. I would not recommend psych np anymore. It’s the new FNP dime a dozen.
Im thinking about taking PMHNP but also thinking of opening a spa in the future. Are there limitations between FNP/adult Geriatrics NP to psych NP when it comes to prescribing medications?
If I may say this, I could have subscribed but seems painful to listen when it is redundant, explaining back and forth some self-explanatroy stuff an adult medical person. Direct to the point, like not talking to a high-school. I tried 2nd time different video. Maybe limit explanation to one sentence and not 4x or so. Thanks.
I don’t understand why being a registered nurse is a weakness for pa schools admissions. I ended up being the only rn in my class with a 3.3 gpa and the class average was 3.8-3.9 for undergraduate degrees. And it was ironic because I had the lowest gpa yet everyone with the high undergraduate gpa was asking me about medicine. I was literally the one in class that was answering all the questions in the lecture. So my question still stands, why don’t pa schools prioritize people with registered nurse undergraduates??????????
Plus I had 600 hours of experience as a student nurse and another 3,000 hours as a registered nurse. The other most experienced person in my class was someone with an EMT license and an undergraduate in gen bio. It makes more sense to go from registered nurse to primary care provider than EMT to primary care provider 😅😂
Hello, I’m a new PMHNP.. my first contract just ended. I worked as an Registered nurse for over 20 years.. As a new PMHNP it’s challenging to go through the credentialing process, but I was wondering how can I start my own business and get licensed in other states
