This song is so fitting right now. Makes me think of growing up on the Winnemucca Indian Colony with my cousins and family friends. Playing late outside. Having so much together. Having huge water fights, playing softball, basketball, and kickball.None of wanting to go inside. Mostly i miss you so much my cousin Kathy. May we be together again one day. Soar high and free forever with the sacred eagles. You're my rock, my protector and i will miss you so much.RIP 💔😢🌹🦅👊🏼
I only saw this movie on TV in the late 1990s. I loved the first and third one. The second was good but not great! Tom B. is an underrated actor. This is his best film!
This song... It means so much more to me as time passes. I used to sing this to my babies. They are now pushing 40. Where did that time go? "Please don't go, Tender Years."

July 4, 2024 saw John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band on the beach in Somers Point New Jersey “Tunes” on Saxophone I love you Barb holding on to you and Tender Years
I remember seeing it when it came out. I was 12. Had an instant crush on Michael Paré., or "Eddie". I don't think I was the only one. Smoldering good looks. Forever immortalized as "Eddie Wilson", the mysterious rockstar who you want so badly to believe escaped and is still alive out there somewhere, too cool for fame, but still rockin small little joints all over Europe. AND he has a cool dog named "Elvis". 😁
