Hello! My name is Boris! I am a fulltime filmmaker! On this channel I will share tips and tricks, review gear and talk with other creators! Hope you'll find it interesting! Have a good day!))
100% agree with everything you're saying. I think I gotta get a v-mount or a battery grip because i'm going to be filming outside during winter and I can already guess these batteries are gonna be even worse. But you cannot beat the look and quality, 4k res is easy to store and edit with its great.
Thanks Boris, This tip still works as DR 19.01 is unable to ioad ARW file from Sony. I'm surprised why DR does not say anything useful during import like "unsupported file type" + convert it using... There's only one issue. When I import multiple dng files they all are treated a a single clip. I'm lookiing for a way to treat them separate
Never understood apeal of bmpcc 4k even less 6k. Love OG - HD version. Wish they stuck with that formfactor. Amazing how Sony and Canon managed to make cameras half size of BMPCC and still have IBIS, 4K evf and rotatitng screen.
Hey man ive been using the bmpcc 4k with viltrox and sigma 18-35 for 2 years and ive starded to notice that it gives me noise in low light, even after sunset so not even fully dark. I used to have a sigma 16mm with no adapter and gave me no noise at all in very low light conditions. Have you also expirienced this with viltrox and the 18-35 combo? And do you know it the meta bones would solve this
This doesn't work. This program is complete garbage. Using raw settings in canon eos 7d and This program says select folder doesn't show any files inside and when I select folder and convert says doesn't contain supported camera raw files. Complete waste of time. Adobe is bottom of the barrel
Hello Boris, greetings from Guatemala, I love the result you obtained, I have the same camera and the same lens with a metabones, I can't achieve a look like that, any configuration in Davinci Resolve that you recommend, greetings
Boris, glad that you are still alive, sincerely. You probably don’t know, but that guy, Max from Cinenimus, is a well know psychopath, one of the most infamous camera trolls out there. I just can’t imagine what could have happened to you in case you win the bet. Honestly I wouldn't have liked to be in your skin if that happens. Nice to know that you are good and safe. "Psy·cho·path" (ˈsī-kə-ˌpath): a person having an egocentric and antisocial personality marked by a lack of remorse for one's actions, an absence of empathy for others, and often criminal tendencies.
Hi. I have no idea how to use Photoshop or lightroom. I am starting to edit using Resolve. I am very glad to learn that I can use Resolve to edit photos (still frames in my videos) . So I just searched #Editing photos using Davinci Resolve". There are a couple of tutorials. However, I think your tutorial style is great. Maybe you could so a series .... "like "Don´t use Lightroom to .(topic)... Use DR instead.. Maybe, you could find and interesting niche. Also, since you are using Black Magic Cameras, well, .... Adobe is a shit company. Black Magic is legit and cool. Keep going. I just subscribed and activated the notifications. I hope to see something cool soon. Good luck
Wait wait.. let's reverse something here lol.. You CAN crop and it's under the timeline window. There's a literal crop option to do so my guy. For the clips, you can drag your images without gapping, set up the frames to one frame first, then do everything else. I like your TIFF option bro because tiffs reserves info and you can touch up and quickly export from another program. Like i can export tiff in davinci, quickly drag into my capture one and immediate export to wherever I want as jpg. Awesome man imma have to test this work flow. I think Davinci will handle images even jpgs the best especially using the HDR wheels
@@BorisTheArtist u are the type of guys they learn everything from youtube and you think about now you are a DOP. Learn what expensive glas is, why arri and Zeiss and cooke out of the 60s so good. Thats majestic glas with character. The curvature and the parafocal ist outstanding. The glass has a specific manufacturing process and that, in combination with a good S35 sensor and good lighting, creates cinematic. And not a 10 dollar glas with zoom. Cheap glass changes all the properties of the glasses behind it, but never in a positive way. There's nothing wrong with creativity, but not with cheap china glass, which is then called IMAX ;)
@@Kalimforgetthen I wonder where do you learn from? Or you just like name-dropping biggest brands you've heard about from Instagram reels and now trying to play a smart ass in the comments of the video that focuses on creative use of things anyone could get rather than talking about things that only spec sheet readers and brand fanboys care about. But if you're curious what cameras I work with, you can always check my Instagram. Curious to see the projects that you've shot with Zeiss and Cooke glass, you can share the link if you want
