ive seen in your video that you used 4k 60 fps and 1080 60fps...that normally or mostly EiS does not support 60fps..u have mislead most of your viewers🤣
In the UK you can replace a battery and there are lots of decent quality second hand batteries. I just bought a 10 year old Leaf with 11/12 bars on the battery health. You can buy an add on 11kwh battery or replace the 24kwh battery with a good second hand one. You're talking about £2k either way which is not bad for say 5 more years of motoring considering you never buy any petrol, road tax is free and servicing is super cheap. I do have a second car (hybrid) so the range is no issue, I would drive my Leaf about 25 miles each way if there was no charging en-route. I charge at home at night time on a slow charger (which is just an outside standard uk 3 pin plug, fitted for £250 all in). The electricity is about 70% cheaper at night time (all electric companies are doing many varied or night time tariffs). Super cheap. As a keen MTB cyclists, I can put 2 entire bikes in the back with the seats down! If it very cold I plug the car in to charge for another 10 mins before I drive off (to warm the battery) and I wear a jumper when I drive! The UK is seriously not as cold as Canada. When it's hot, I rarely use AC tbh, do you need it? The best bit is, my car has funky vinyl wrap and people move out of my way when the road is narrow, they think what's that and move their posh car to the side so I can get past :-)
Idiot!On such devices, the one-hand test should not work, since it should not spontaneously open in the tablet position or in other specific situations. In general, I think that such tests are just a marketing ploy for stupid people.
Can you recommend a portable video camera made to use storage other than an SD card? All I've found so far are the cameras within smartphones, and (from what I understand) some GoPros.
If the WIndows is comprimised, even resetting the Windows to factory could keep the laptop comprimised. Therefore I like to wipe disk completely and reinstall Windows. However, I have not been able to get it booting a Windows 11 on USB. Did you ever succeed in installing WIndows 11 or Windows 10 from scratch ?
I was wondering about battery efficiency. I have the 2023 EUV at 104 km/h it starts switching from green to yellow. Is this the case with other Bolts? I love the car, this is my second one complaint, not that I want to do 125, but some highways now have 110 as the limit which messes with the battery I want to keep between stops.
@@MrWebweaver with any EV, battery efficiency stats to lower around 100km/h due to the extra air resistance. The bolt just shows you that directly. It won't mess up the battery but you'll get more range driving at 90km/h than 110km/h
@@DrekiTech bad choice of words. What I meant was the guessimator goes way off at higher speeds. Good to know that is expected not something wrong with my car. For your screen cleaning, do not use a towel, get yourself a small kit for cleaning glasses, the cloth that comes with it doesn’t scratch the screen like a towel will over time.
I have the firefly 8se and this weekend i went out recording. When i got back home and watched video, all of them are in super fast mode. I tried restore etc,etc. But now the videos i have i can not slow down. What did i do wrong or should look for.
Bolt EV has been the most affordable electric for years now. Nothing will ever change that. That being said this car has objectively bad ergonomics -The driver seat side lever sits too high on the side of the seat. So every time you exit the car, your left thigh will hit the hard plastic. Every. Single. Time -The bottom of the infotainment screen protrudes into your leg space. This pushes your right knee to the left. Meanwhile, your right foot (on the accelerator) remains to the right. My right leg needs to be contorted this way every time I drive the Bolt and it is uncomfortable -The infotainment screen sits way too low on the dashboard. This may not be uncommon among ice cars, but it is abnormal for an electric car. Virtually every EV has the infotainment screen touching the bottom of the windshield or higher. This is good because you can still see the road even as you are looking at the screen. The Bolt's low screen position forces you to shift your eye down and away from the road every time you look at it. This not only causes headache, but it is frankly unsafe. For this reason, I never use the map on the screen. I use my phone instead which is positioned above the dashboard, so I can look at it and the windshield at the same time -Infotainment screen does not sit in the middle. It is positioned closer to the passenger to the right. No one likes to shift their eyes further to the right just to look at a screen. Just why? -hazard light button is located on the passenger's dashboard instead of the driver. Really? Every time you need to press it, you have to extend your right arm full stretch to reach it. Again, this is a hassle and potentially unsafe -Flat gearshift. I'm not against having no stick for the gearshift. I am against it being too low to be able to reach it comfortably. This type of flat gearshift is simply impossible to reach with a water bottle in the way. So why would Chevy put a cupholder directly behind it? Possibly the worst ergonomics in a car. Definitely the worst for an electric car. Besides comfortability, this car is great
Needed a new car 12yr old Chrysler was starting to cost me money..I worked for Chrysler 30 plus years get discount on new cars and lease but went with a bolt I can’t explain how happy i am with this car it’s perfect for me getting around I average about 800 miles a month my electric bill is up around 20% but other factors add to this increase still my highest electric bill was 300.00 this summer I have a pool pump is on 24/7 so 60 dollars for roughly 800 miles winner winner and it’s fun to drive
its $45 cad now. I wonder if its still worth it after 2 years being on the market. I can't seem to find any front and rear dashcam kit in this price range.
I've had a 23 EUV for about 6 months, really like how it drives. My only negative is the shifting, would much rather have a standard style gear shift stalk than the stupid pull up switches, just annoying.
I bought a 23 EUV, premiere. I love this thing. Yes, the charging time is slow. But the car is the best value for range and quality. Until battery technology is everything it should be, this car is the best bang for your EV buck.
Thanks Dreki... Not amazon but please do not buy Roadxon Cameras they are sold by a hong kong based company with zero customer service. The camera is also reviewed as best in 2024 by a fake review site. The camera is cheap junk and is sold for over £100. Total scammers please avoid at all costs.
You may have discovered this already but the center console armrest slides forward(just the top part) if you just pull it forward. I disovered this by accident when I was opening the center console storage. I do have a 2019 Bolt but hopefully the 2023 is the same. One thing to remember it also locks the center console so you can't open it unless you slide it to the back position.
@@DrekiTech Sorry to hear that. Interesting they would change that especially since your a taller person and the armrest is to far back for you. I'm short and pull the armrest forward as far as it will go and it's just barely adequate.
I owned more than 25 different cars in my lifetime but 2023 bolt is the best car that I have ever owned in my entire life. I wish GM continued its production. What the shame it is discounted.
thanks! i was considering, but was worried about the screen hinge and you have verified it, and also pointed out the keyboard. never been a fan of that type of screen swivel (for aesthetic reasons). I guess I'll be considering chuwi's 8 inch instead, despite having fewer ports (which is the win for this).
I'm 6'1" and 255 lbs. I find the seats comfortable for drives from 4-8 hrs. 2023 Bolt EV BTW ... we really love this car! The slow highway charging has taught us to relax and enjoy the break. We'll walk, read, nap or just chat in a restaurant. We arrive later but way more relaxed and refreshed. I wouldn't have expected this, but it is how it has turned out.
I bought and used it for a year. Nothing bad but the coupling between the screen and the body. Its not strong enough with time. After 3 months using it, the coupling broke. And I have to fix it with steel plate. For more imformation, I like it alot. I am a trade marketing. I use it for 3 hours per day, bring P8 with me when I have market visit trips. This laptop is my highly RECOMMEND for anyone need a laplop with a good CPU and have to travel alot.

I've been interested with this device, but the company is a bit sketchy. Drivers could be a problem in the future. Also replacement parts like battery or LCD.
I own this device and I am happy with it. However, I just scanned the device and did not reinstall windows. I think some of your problems originated in that. Speakers and keyboard on such a small device are compromises. That’s true, but not especially bad with this device.
Is it proper operating system? Like proper PC setup in laptop or is it chromebook style? I need connect bluetoth to the car bluetooth but chromebooks/hp laptops dont work only laoptops with windows 10/11 operating system for some reason. I will only using this for youtube music for car. Please lmk
the lens "clicking" into place is a good thing. it means in an impact, the lens would get jostled and end up looking some place else other than where it was set to look. also the capacitor vs battery is a huge issue if you are in a very hot or very cold climate as batteries will swell and get damaged in such temperatures. the HDR feature as you mentioned can be programmed for night only usage on the viofo which enhances overall image quality in the day without HDR.

People who can continuously dictate the price of these can create for themselves a dictatorship. Is there democracy when dictators exist in every community?
