Wow, those Benu's are STUNNING!!! Congratulations on your new additions! The hand painted flamingos is beautifully detailed and the pink champagne is sooo sparkly!!! 😍
Hi. I too love orange. My favorite ink is pilot iroshizuku fuyu-gaki. But I also love Wearingeul Heimdall. Not as bright as your Diamine but nice orange inks. Rachelle in Seattle
As someone who has over 500 samples and still going trying to collect them all like pokemon I totally get it. Akkerman #16 orange above is my favorite Orange but I'm trying to build a swatch book with every ink I can get my hands on so that may yet change. And, sorry not sorry, I'm amazed by how small your hands are...I have giant paws that age and arthritis are making less and less useless every day. I wish I could use a pro gear slim unposted like that...I would lose a Q1 the moment I picked it up.... I'm amazed and jealous. Nice vid and thank you!
Love the orange pens they look soo fun. Too bad I don’t really get to use fountain pens or fun stationery much anymore. For studies an iPad and pencil make it so much more convenient but so much less satisfying when doing work or taking notes.
loved this video!! i have a similar washi tape, but the one you have is cuter imo 🤭🧡 my partner says this was a v interesting video and that they were so stoked to see it pop up in our suggested! (i think the pen at 2:00-ish is GORGEOUS and i love the colour of the final fountain pen!)
If you're not happy with the line width, maybe try a wetter ink in it? When I first used the MF nib with Sailor's included black cartridge, I was disappointed with how medium it was. After filling it with another ink, it writes more fine like I prefer. Hopefully this can help you love this pen more! I'm surprised how cherry red it looks in your video. Very pretty!
Thanks! Noodlers released some anti-Semitic ink names and didn't do anything about it until they were called out. Some people accept the apology and some don't. There are reddit articles on what happened specifically but I choose not to support them because of this and they seem to have a lot of problems with quality control.
I dont own a Sailor (yet) but what you described about the line width being so fine and it not being a wet writer my hesitation in getting one. I do like extra fine and fine nibs on occasion, but I think I gravitate more towards the smooth larger nib widths as it really reduces the drag when writing as a left hander :) Thanks for sharing!
The Sailor fairytale series only comes in MF. It’s such a beautiful pen and you can definitely hear the mechanical pencil/iconic Sailor feedback in the video.❤
