I dont own a Sailor (yet) but what you described about the line width being so fine and it not being a wet writer my hesitation in getting one. I do like extra fine and fine nibs on occasion, but I think I gravitate more towards the smooth larger nib widths as it really reduces the drag when writing as a left hander :) Thanks for sharing!
If you're not happy with the line width, maybe try a wetter ink in it? When I first used the MF nib with Sailor's included black cartridge, I was disappointed with how medium it was. After filling it with another ink, it writes more fine like I prefer. Hopefully this can help you love this pen more! I'm surprised how cherry red it looks in your video. Very pretty!
The Sailor fairytale series only comes in MF. It’s such a beautiful pen and you can definitely hear the mechanical pencil/iconic Sailor feedback in the video.❤
