Hello everyone and welcome to my channel . My name is Alireza and I`m a cg artist and a Virtual Reality developer .
I founded UNREAL ART with the mission to equip you with the knowledge, skills and insights you need to design and create 3D virtual worlds in unreal engine 5 .
You can use the knowledge in different fields including Game design , VFX , Movies and Animations , Architectural visualization and VR/AR games and applications.
There will be Unreal Engine 5 tutorials to cover the technical side . We will also talk about the business side of the relevant industries, technology trends , design and art to completely cover all of the elements contributing to the creation of a 3D virtual world .
If you think this type of content can help you move forward in your career , don`t forget to subscribe , that would mean a lot for the future of this channel . 🙏🥂
you are welcome. Yes I think it's ok. haven't seen any rules in this regard and also there is not an easy way for them to recognize AI generated models in your game and prove it as well. However, I suggest reading the license agreements and the rules of steam and also talk to their support to be 100 % sure .
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It was incredibly helpful for my project. I was able to implement the functionality correctly and move forward with my game development. Keep up the great work!
IMO any other panel can also be used. TBH the canvas panel is the most taxing one of all of them. a canvas panel lets you have many children, you only need one child so any other single child panel would be better.
Thanks! also, Im making a 2 player game and the bullet doesnt show for the other player. Is there a way to make the bullet holes replicated so both players can see the holes?
You are the best. I always look for a tutorial on Ui, as someone who's coming from Figma. I would like to implement my Figma designs in Unreal engine, and your tutorial helped a lot. Thanks. please do more UI tutorials
⚠ Some Clarification for the video : 1 . The folder should exactly be named Movies and it should be in your content folder 2 . After you copy your Mp4 files in the Movies folder, they won't show up in your content browser in unreal, just make sure you copy them in the folder and they will show up in the project settings/movies when you want to select them for you splash screen . peace 🥂🥂
I got a .PNG image and turned it into a MP4 just like you did. but hen i drag it from a outside folder into my projects folder location, it doesn't actually show up in the UE. so ill drag it straight into the project from file explorer and it shows up not as MP4. do you know what that might be?
mp4 files don't show up in the content browser in unreal. just make a Movies folder in the content browser, then go to your project files in windows ( outside unreal ) and copy the mp4 in the movies folder. then in the projects settings when you go to the movies section and want to select the movie, they will show up there. if it doesn't work send a screen record of what you are doing and email it to me so I can see what's wrong. 4lirezaemami@gmail.com
@@UnrealART Thanks. For some reason the folder Had to be named "Movies" got it working now. it would of been great Tho, if you put a comment something somewhere letting people know that MP4 don't show up in UE5 and the folded actually has to be named "Movies". besides being confused for 30 min it still was a helpful vid ,pointing me in the direction of having a intro logo
@@UnrealART probably a good idea to also let people know that if you set it to "standalone game" viewport. you will also need to go into editor preferences to change a type of resolution so you can view the logo you made. if not, by default half of the window is out of the screen resolution size for some reason. i found where it is by going to. "editor preferences">"Level Editor">"Play">"Game Viewport Settings">"New Window Position" and then tick the box called "Always Center Viewport window to screen". you can find it more quickly by just typing in "New Window Position" in the search field of the "editor preferences"
interesting. however, I have been playing Remnant 2, pacific drive, ghost runner 2 and they all show unreal's logo in their splash screens 🤔guess they have to pay the royalities
3:10 I am in 3rd person and when i try to add "event begin play" i cant There is a "event begin play" node in the blueprint So It just take me to it What should i do ??
Thanks for the words. I just subscribed. Will get back to you. Day 19 of unreal engine. Have 1 course I bought earlier today after some research. While doing that one, I took a break just to fiddle around with some other ideas. My approach is, I want to make A, how do I do that? And youtube really have different solutions for my A inquiry. But then you might stumble upon B and C things which might or might not be interesting. If interesting, Ill save them on my desktop, which is pretty clean actually. And there they lie until Im done with A, or get stuck with A. Perhaps A got some other solution and the progress is repeated. I have during my days created a FPS jump and run game, but have yet to learn how to pick up items other than the ball gun. How to take my ps1 filter on the camera from level to level, and also make sure to save the right textures some how. I feel like I should start over, or try to clean up the mess for the practice game. So I guess that is what I will do once I am done having fun with the project. Unreal Engine is a beast I haven't really gotten into before, but tried at least 2 times earlier. I did not get far, but I had a few AHA moments without any help. With the new updates I felt it was time, mostly because nanites and such, thinking my sluggish computer would work better. I think it works wonders, but blueprints is still just a huge questionmark. Anyway, Im rambling. Thanks for a fun 8 min video. Cheers.
Very beautiful and helpful video tutorial, thanks a lot. Can I ask you a suggestion or a link to your video about how to add more than one level in the game and choose one of them in the main menu? My need is about: A game with two levels: day light and night light (not cycle). I do create two levels without lights for the first one and with light for second one, but the meshes are the same for the two levels. Make a menu option where I can choose day light scene or night light scene. Many thanks in advance. I love you Sir :)
hello my friend , thanks a lot for the comment, glad you liked the video! the thing you wanna do is super easy just make a button as explained in the video and the define an event on clicked , then call an open level function and choose the level you want to open, do the same for the other level as well. let me know if there was any problem
@@UnrealART Ok, I can do this, but my issue is about how to duplicate the actors in the first level into the second level without overlapping the two levels, and add lights only into the second level. I have look in the web but without an exhaustive solution. Could you help me, please. I appreciate your help
@@gianclaudiomorando2392 I don't understand what the problem is exactly. just make a copy of the level you already have and name it night . then open up the level and set the lights based on your night scene scenario. what's wrong with this approach ? 🤔🤔
@@UnrealART Ok you are right but when I package the project I have lots of errors and warnings like this: StaticMeshActor_20 StaticMeshActor_20 is in the same location as StaticMeshActor_20 and I see, in the First Person Level map, everything overlapped and also the lights I have created in the night level visible in the First Person level. I have to turn off the night level in level window in order to hide the night level when I open the First Person Map. I have to understand how to organize more than one level in the same project. I'm sorry for my ignorance but I'm trying to understand this wonderful world of Unreal Engine. I forgotten to tell you that I'm using UE5.4.2. You are a very gentle person :)
@@gianclaudiomorando2392 ok you need to send a screen record to my email so I can look into it and figure out what is going on ! 4lirezaemami@gmail.com
unfortunately that happens to some people, I don't know why exactly . you should make sure you are doing it in the right notepad based on your unreal version and then save and close everything. other than that I don't know what could be wrong
Please make a video on how to make ai enemy and its health system and damage system i watched your weapon attachment 3 videos and now i want to create a ai so i need your help
you can use a get velocity in your flow and and use a branch. if the velocity more than 0, then plug the rest of your bp flow to the true out put . So it only works when you are moving. I think this should solve the problem
Didn't particularly need an elevator tutorial. Just watching random UE vids while eating dinner and came across your vid. Man, gr8 work. Honestly enjoy your workflow. Smashed that sub button as hard as my mouse could handle without complaining lol :)
