In this video I will cover how to add a splash screen / logo screen / movie to your unreal engine 5 project. #unrealengine #unrealengine5 #ue5game #ue5 #blueprints
⚠ Some Clarification for the video : 1 . The folder should exactly be named Movies and it should be in your content folder 2 . After you copy your Mp4 files in the Movies folder, they won't show up in your content browser in unreal, just make sure you copy them in the folder and they will show up in the project settings/movies when you want to select them for you splash screen . peace 🥂🥂
I got a .PNG image and turned it into a MP4 just like you did. but hen i drag it from a outside folder into my projects folder location, it doesn't actually show up in the UE. so ill drag it straight into the project from file explorer and it shows up not as MP4. do you know what that might be?
mp4 files don't show up in the content browser in unreal. just make a Movies folder in the content browser, then go to your project files in windows ( outside unreal ) and copy the mp4 in the movies folder. then in the projects settings when you go to the movies section and want to select the movie, they will show up there. if it doesn't work send a screen record of what you are doing and email it to me so I can see what's wrong. 4lirezaemami@gmail.com
@@UnrealART Thanks. For some reason the folder Had to be named "Movies" got it working now. it would of been great Tho, if you put a comment something somewhere letting people know that MP4 don't show up in UE5 and the folded actually has to be named "Movies". besides being confused for 30 min it still was a helpful vid ,pointing me in the direction of having a intro logo
@@UnrealART probably a good idea to also let people know that if you set it to "standalone game" viewport. you will also need to go into editor preferences to change a type of resolution so you can view the logo you made. if not, by default half of the window is out of the screen resolution size for some reason. i found where it is by going to. "editor preferences">"Level Editor">"Play">"Game Viewport Settings">"New Window Position" and then tick the box called "Always Center Viewport window to screen". you can find it more quickly by just typing in "New Window Position" in the search field of the "editor preferences"
interesting. however, I have been playing Remnant 2, pacific drive, ghost runner 2 and they all show unreal's logo in their splash screens 🤔guess they have to pay the royalities
