I bought one of these. There’s a design issue where the vacuum pulls leaves etc into the black fabric sack. There are six vanes just inside the plastic hose and on first use it blocked up with leaf debris. Suction went from fine to zero. Couple of minutes with a saw and the vanes were gone and so was the obstruction. Cant see the point of them as you want everything sucked up to go into the bag as quickly as possible. Other than that the charge lasts about 30 mins on full blast, enough to convince me to buy two batteries.
I'm gonna use these for dirty laundry.. and clothes only. I don't like that they're TARP material, they will fray over time .. especially if exposed to sunlight or dry temps I'd guess..
I just went to the hardware store and got some copper fittings and put them on a zip tie and dropped them in the drain basket The lady in the store said people put them in their water troughs for their livestock
I've seen where someone put a chunk of copper pipe in the skimmer basket, no electricity just the metal in the skimmer basket and it seems to work? is this a viable option versus the ionization?
I have to get one of these, been watching videos. Using way too much liquid chlorine because my CYA level is up because of my auto-chlorinator and the tabs. If I get one of these I can set that on super low and my pool will be perfect.
Good discussion. However, at 14'45, the guest states "tablets are ok", and acknowledges that tablets contain stabilizer. This completely contradicts the chart shown at about 14:00 which states to keep stabilizer at 0. Did I miss something? Also, for the "3 pools which suffered black streaks" on the floor, Do we know what type of construction (Plaster, painted, fiberglass, liner, etc) these pools are made of? Perhaps the some types of surfaces are more susceptible to this?
Pretty much any ccd camera will pickup infrared, its one way to check if your remote controls are working, just point your phone camera at your tv remote and push a button you will see the remote led flashing. No special camera needed to pick up the panels I suspect.
Steve Fambro is saying production will start early next year, and PI builds end of this year.........you and I and everyone else who has a brain, knows that is not going to happen. Why is he lying? Yup she is saying everything they have told her, shame not much of it is based on reality.
You know I jumped on google earth and measured the distance driven, it was 1.5km. The display showed 77% full at the start and 73% full at beginning. So 4% of battery capacity got 1.5km ( fairly harsh drive with full throttle often). That means 1% of battery gets you 375m. So lets say you drive using 100% of battery capacity, that will get you 375x100=37500m or 38km. Realistically you cant use all 100% of battery, lets say 10% capacity not useable. You could go 34km......thats not bad considering it was bad driving style.
I guess if you're lazy, pay for the chlorine. The "risk" occurs when you DON'T thoroughly clean the ionizer once, even twice a week where I live. Use those test strips and get to know your pool folks
People want to buy batteries from aptera? I see july 2025 video, there is one person building a single pack for a production build vehicle, at that rate they could supply one pack per year, impressive.
One string got a real 67 w, so if they have evened out the strings seven would max out at 469 w - way short of 700. And that's at the panel; more losses before it gets to the wheels.
I note she says next year you will recieve your aptera, seems that is another bit of speel, production starts early next year is the generally accepted jargon they give.
Been using an ionizer for about 4 years in an above ground. Started with the Floatron brand. Had great luck and no staining. Keeps my pool clear and I add no chemicals except chlorine tabs in a floater. Does take a little maintenance but worth it.
We’ve had a ionizer for over 5 years. The first few years all was well, but now we have horrible stains. Hubby had used liquid algae killer and I think that’s what’s caused it.but living here in florida of course It gets super hot and humid and lots it rain during the hurricane season so heWas trying to prevent it as well as once orTwice Only in those 5 years or more we actually had algae. (Since we started Using the ionizer.) water is beautifully clear. We wanted to stay away from so much usage of chemicals so often because our grandson uses the pool over the summer and we anted to protect his skin.
Hallo dear truth, honest, intelligent person. How have you been? We gotta really beware cuz there are so many clever scammers out there trying to sell anything to get rich. What's new regarding your copper silver ionization systems? What's the latest news regarding advancement with pool purification systems? Have our wonderful hardworking scientists developed an even healthier and even less expensive purification system than copper silver ionization? Thank you so very much. Best regards and have a wonderful summer season 🍉🌞🌳🍊🥭
You won't get 47 miles in city driving and especially with the AC running. The 47 mile figure from honda is based on "Mixed" driving with some highway and some non-highway driving, but not in stop and go driving. The test cycle the EPA uses is not stop and go, but does have some stop and go. It attempts to match the "average" driving conditions. When cars are driven on secondary roads and streets with no traffic congestion, the Clarity will benefit much more from Regen than it does in stop and go, and if you were doing a lot of stop and go, that explains the difference. I get about 52 miles on a battery driving in town during non-peak traffic and places where there is not a traffic light ever two blocks. I have gotten as high as 54 miles. I never get that in stop and go. The point is that unless you have the same conditions as the "average" that the rating is based on, you will get fewer if there is more highway and more stop and go (less regen) and more miles if you are in typical suburban type driving, where you can coast to stoplights and regen frequently.
Has anybody had discoloration with these ionizers when using them in an above ground pool because above ground pools are typically plastic I’m wondering if there will be any discoloration
This is an expensive gimmick. The ionizer (if it works at all) is adding copper ions to your pool, which you can buy $10 worth of copper sulfate to do and have a lifetime supply. Plus, copper doesn't need to be continuously added. You want about 1 ppm of copper in the pool and not much more or you will see the problems CapeCoralFloridaWaterfront mentions below where there will be staining and possible filter damage. Salt pools do a good job of churning out chlorine on a fairly regular basis (they do need some maintenance), and I also recommend learning about and adding borates (up to about 50 ppm) to the pool.
I do the trimming without guard and extended the trim line even more like 16-17 inches. But I use face shield to prevent anything from hitting my face. Needed to be done for the ditches and yard is 0.75 acre. Very powerful head tbh. Got on sale for 59.99. And power head for 149.
Hi I'm looking for a battery charger replacement for the FERREX, Do u know which one I can purchase please 🙏🏽? I tired to check on Amazon and idk which one to buy. I don't have the charger bc it was given to me by a friend, and she lost the charger. 😢 can one help me please abd thank you.
I just bought 16 26 gal tote bags from Amazon (8 / $34) so a little bit smaller.. different brand, but I assume they are basically the same and likely even made in the same place. They'll be arriving tomorrow.. glad to see you put boxes in yours, gives the bag a little extra support.
New video every day. No cars to sell but want more donations so they can start producing cars in Italy. Trying to beat Elio. Good luck anyone ever getting 1.
Aren’t you supposed to use chemicals? Yeah it’s an no professional item but I feel like the debris, would come up faster with the proper, substance. 🤷♂️
