My name is Zoë Gubbels, I am from the Netherlands.
I hope to inspire you by showing my experiences in the good and bad times. At the moment I play college tennis and started my Master of Business Administration degree. After my America journey, my goal is to play international tournaments.
In order to finance it, I am going to be an entrepreneur. On my website, I plan to add a shop for sporting accessories.

FYI - the link to your English blog doesn’t work (404 error). As a tennis player I was curious to see your level of play at Angelo State. I periodically am asked about the level of play at schools like Angelo State … Anyway, I thought I’d let you know your link doesn’t work.
For all the talk about being environmentally efficient, these students don't factor in the size and population of the US. For its size, it's as sustainable as country's with similar land mass and equal or greater population. Funny enough only the females brought being environmentally friendly up. Talk about about being inculcated with a certain ideology/standard. God forbid our toilets don't flush in a sustainable way. And tipping is optional.A good percent of waiters in the US prefer the tipping system; it's simply another economic system within an already existing economic system.
You don't care for the culture, greetings, food or work ethic, but you don't mind taking advantage of what the U.S. has to offer. Perhaps you should have stayed in your own country.
With all due respect to the girl from Belgium, she is clueless. European students don't work because they live off their parents. Ok, you buy groceries instead of eating out, but what about petrol/gasoline? You can't use public transportation for everything. Europeans live with their parents up to the age 30 and beyond. That's not healthy and it's certainly nothing to brag about. Sincerely, an European.
5:40 it's not meaningless it's a good way to get to know your fellow men and uplift your mood and who knows you could be saying hi to your future wife or husband, or best friend or business partner, etc.... I personal have made lifelong friends with the small gesture of ''hey, how your day is going''.
I started wearing a cheap thin golf glove from amazon; its amazing! I can hit the ball HUGELY and theres NO slippage etc, I can now bash the ball much more strongly than barehanded! Ive now won MORE matches etc with gloves in my current club; Im super impressed!!

Hi I'm also considering to transfer to ASU ? Was it worth it ? I'm gonna apply for biology first and then apply for nursing program. If you have any friends who can tell me insider views about nursing program, I would be much delighted. You content give ma a great insight about campus. Thank you
as an american you CANNOT get around without a car. the weather will permit you from doing so. i feel like foreigners don’t know how HUGE america actually is so that’s why people use cars so much. another thing is fast food. yes there is fast food but people rarely ever eat it everyday. most americans make their own meals
Aww, your accent sounds so cute. I graduated back in 2015 while they were doing all the constructions/expansions around campus. I'll probably revisit at some point to just walk around and see how much of things changed. Thanks for the tour. I also graduated with a business degree in MIS. Good luck!
I didn’t like what that vitanmese girl Emily said about Americans having a meaningless conversation and not caring as if we were bad people. We ask how are you beacuse we are caring people and if that stranger were to share more about there life we as Americans would stand there and talk. She's got it all wrong.
How did this thing start that you HAVE TO tip wait staff? I really don't care how much money they get paid. If they do a good job, they get a tip. If they don't, then they don't. It's not my responsibility to make sure they get more money. I've got a family to take care of and that is what I concentrate on. If you are wait staff, that's cool. It's a job I could never do. If you want a tip (at least from me and others I know) then do a good job and you'll get a good one.
That's exactly how tips are meant to work too so don't feel bad! If a server is bad enough to not get tips above their states minimum wage the restaurant has to make up the difference on top of their lower pay. And these staff don't last, so rest assured the staff you deal with are likely paid just fine enough to handle a bad tip if they earn it.
It's nice to see u again! I've found today and I was wondering is this channel update or not! IMMA apply for master of computer science and I'm looking for some universities in the US. Generally do u recommend it or not? How about your connections in this university?

You need to know what kind of university you are looking for. A smaller or a bigger one ? I do think everywhere you go, you can make good connections
