Our main goal is to share some ideas, solutions and information tips, old and new. Some of the material will be related to the fire service and others will be directed toward general everyday living. If just but one small bit of information is useful, then we are accomplishing our goal. life is too short. Live it, love it! Be safe!
I'm not a Wildland fire fighter I'd love to someday but I'll say to the men and women out there today working the fires thank you for all you do may all our firefighters stay safe out there Wildland or structure firefighters may these 19 fallen firemen never be forgotten may they be at peace and guide and protect our firefighters out there and be there watchful eye's just a sad terrible accident that happened us humans can't control the weather I don't blame the granite mountain hotshots for the accident it was just a wake of nature and shift in the wind that got them if the winds didn't pick up they may have had a chance but either way you guy's will never be forgotten I'm sure to this very day Wildland fire fighters still think of these 19 brave souls I know I do
Found this after 10 years but my father was a SEAL my Grandfather was a SEAL and my Great Grandfather a UDT from WW2 Korea and then was there when the UDTs became the SEALs in Vietnam
I'm glad to find your RU-vid channel. I'm looking forward trying to make a proper Sicilian pie. I'm also hoping it will turn out like I used to get in Oceanside like when my Sicilian step father from Canarsie used to make it and also from that pizza place that used to be in the Green Acres Mall on Sunrise Highway back in the 1960's. I sure miss those days. About the Navy Seals. My father was one of them during WWII and was on a ship that repaired destroyers damaged in combat.
Actually sicilians call it sfincione see when the sicilians like my family came from Sicily in the 1900s when they bought over sfincione the Americans classified it as pizza.
Ex-Wildland Firefighter from Canada. Rest in Peace Brothers.... may Y'all smile down on your brother and sister fighting fire and guide them from Heaven. I salute Wildland Firefighter.
Brooklyn and Long Island here. Couldn't get any good pizza since I moved to SWFL 5 years ago. Started making my own. Dough from scratch San Marzanos for the gravy of course. Wanted to try some good old Brooklyn "square pie" and came across your video. Thanks Squadfather and to all the firefighters that were on the pile. RIP 343.
Hi Squadfather343, do you have a copy of the breakdown/instruction sheet shown at :52 of the video? If you do, can you send it to psprung.npfd6@gmail.com? I am the Fire Prevention and Education coordinator for our FD, and I would love to show this to our Chief so that we can enhance our training, great video, and thank you very much!!
lodcomm san marzano tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano..garlic first about 6 cloves lightly browned in oil, not burnt, then remove then get one small can of good tomato paste add 1/4 cup of water and mix together then cook for two minutes in oil, low flame, add tomatoes. For the pizza gravy i like to ground them or crush for a smooth gravy..bring to boil..then lower flame to low simmer for couple hours, partially covered...then if you made a big batch you can use fresh or freeze..enjoy and thanks for watching
Hi Squadfather343, I´m a volunteer firefighter from Germany. I´d like to build your training prop for my department - great idea! Could you provide the construction manual (seen in your video at 0:53 on the left corner) for me? It´s already giving me a hard time to convert your us foot/inch measure into european meters. Would be great, thank you very much! Sorry for the bad english :-/
I remember this video from when I first got into cigars, you were one of my first points of contact to getting to grips with making sure I was getting the best experience out of my cigars! I found you again because this video is in a playlist I made called "cigars". Hope you're doing well, pal!
I'm not from Brooklyn I'm from Philly. I say we have some damn good pizza there. Tonight I decided to try this out at home and I'm telling you I forgot about Philly and saw Jesus in heaven when I tried this. Is it too late to move to Brooklyn............
What Spices,? Did you add into those Tomatoes to make that Pizza Gravy Sauce.? You did not say the Recipe for it, Thanks for sharing your Great Sicilian Recipe.
Basic Pizza sauce, I use garlic in oil to start, don't burn them, once brown, discard them, small can of great tomato paste with 1/4 cup of water stir in for two minutes, add San Marzano tomatoes, add oregano, salt, pepper, (if you want a little bite, add crushed red pepper too). You can hand crush tomatoes or smooth out with immersible hand blender. Bring to boil, stir, and heat down to simmer very low, 2-3 hours max. Use or freeze! Enjoy and thanks for viewing and comments.
That's kool man. Here in St. Louis mo we have an ITALIAN SICILIAN district called the "THE HILL" where "YOGI BERRA grew up. Great food and restraunts. Come visit it ain't BROOKLYN but I'm positive you will feel at home. Thanks for RECipe
The best , if you can fund it is Grande Mozzarella. They only sell to restaurants. I use Supremo Italiano Mozzarella, i get the whole block. I get it from Restaurant Depot. They also have the DOP San Marzano Tomatoes there. Thanks for viewing

+Squadfather343 thank you so much for your reply! L and bs it is! When I get home Im going to try to make my own using your recipe. Do you have any videos where you make the tomatoe sauce?
A beautiful tribute. As a kid I lived in Maspeth, Queens. I walked past the local firehouse on my way to visit my great-grandmother who lived on the next block. That house is now the home of Haz-Mat 1 and Squad 288. Tragically, like other units, no responding firefighter survived that day.
A horrible thing happened in Brooklyn Lou Barbati the owner of L & B Spumoni Gardens was shot and killed. Lou was a great guy and God bless him and his family. I dedicate my song "The Brooklyn Song" to Lou (LuLu)m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vrQXnkPPDiM.html
