Have you ever bought a product that performed Much better than advertised? Wow, I just had something hit my windshield and chip it. About the size of a quarter. A hole with spider cracks. First time for me. I saw this and other RU-vid suggestions and decided on this product. I went to AutoZone and came right home, I've heard that the cracks get worse and worse, so I jumped on it. Took about an hour, nothing difficult and most of the time is "curing". Inside my car or out, I really have to search to see where the chip was. This product is amazing 🤩🤩🤩 o
At least this guy isn't talking about using a spatula to remove old sealant like in your other ad. Kind of makes me question if the guy who works on differential has ever worked on a diff.
Nothing ive used in automotive industry compares to Hondas Ultra Flange-2.. ive used both products and have had to take things back apart .ultra flange definitely bonds to the metal better and cleans up easier, meaning comes all the way off.. this and all of the other brands leave a film on the meta,l( that it didnt stick to) and brake cleaner and a lot of your time will not get it off of the freash clean mating surface .. this stuff is 30 dollars and up. Ultra flange is 25 bucks for a 10oz pressurized can. This brand has gotten better since the old silicone days and it is what i use.. ultra grey isnt bad.. Today im going to what ive been told is there best.. think its 5920 copper gasket maker and their legendary copper spray on the cylinder head gaskets.. .. most folks say ya dont need that copper spray on the head gasket cause it has the coating and that coating is supposed to fill in any discrepancies... but their all wrong. The copper spray actually fills in discrepancies that you can't see or feel and that the gasket doesnt fill in.. next time yall do a head gasket spray is the copper spay , torque the head down and take head back off and you will see. with your own eyes that it works.. and i think permatex need to hire some folks that work's on everybody's cars but their own..lol cause the guys that work on their own cars cant tirle a lil ole show properly ive also been told the 5900 grey is the best. Ill try both and report back that well all know which one is the best..lol it would be nice to get a link to a place where permatex products arent twice as much as the 2 brands that have very popular names that i womt mention at this time.. but I'll be back as soon as i get the pistons back in this and the car gone.. ill come back and share my option on which silicone is the best, ill find a link to purchase from permatex
I had to razer off (not just wipe off) the residual resin to make the CURING STRIP LAY FLAT. So my "bead" of resin was disturbed while I flattened the surface. Also, I could NOT find the video anywhere on their website. 🤪 Otherwise, I'm happy with the results.

Watched the Project Farm windshield repair kit test/comparison on RU-vid. Permatex came in second behind a $300+ professional kit. I used the new Permatex kit (tapered syringe rather than Luer lock, no cap on the resin tube) on a spider crack. Worked like a champ. We'll see how long it lasts and whether it stops the crack from spreading.
I came here to learn the proper way to use you products and then you have somebody blast shit into the oil pan to probably cause blockage of the oil pickup. Great
Tips: the newest products don’t have the twisting syringe (it’s a normal one), the resin tube hasn’t a cap and keep always the alcohol towelette inside its little bag and try to close it after each use to prevent to get dry during the whole one hour process. When it says “3/4 of product” everybody is right: there’s no way to know that since the tube is white. So just keep aware of not finish all the product in the first application. You will need a tear or two to finish the process.
