Permatex General Purpose Gel Epoxies with Blue Dye Indicator 

Im in Brazil and through ITW South America, i purchased a Permatex 5 minute Epoxy Gel unit and i am extremely dissatisfied in general. I don't know if it is a product's characteristic, but the product's hardener doesn't seem to work. Doesn't matter of the curing time is longer than 24 hours, the end result is always a rubbery mixture that doesn't harden at all and still becomes brittle. It's something like a bad rubber. And the mixture does not cure in a transparent color, but in a yellowish white color. To clear up my doubts about the hardener i tried mixing the Permatex blue resin with a hardener from another manufacturer and "voila" it was as rock solid as it normally should be. And finaly... Yes i did contact with permatex support and no reply yet.

Does he use it to bond himself to the seat of that thing to hold on better
