Awesome Video!! I’ve been kayak 10:54 fishing gulf island pond on the androscoggin we catch giants through the ice….ive caught some 5-12 had a couple giants come outta the water missing my topwater plugs! Tight lines!
I find pike a little deeper this time of year. I look for 8-15 feet of water. Deep weed lines. There’s pickerel all over this body of water and I rarely find them that deep.
Very nice video. I do a similar set up when I fish for lakers in Algonquin Park and I tried it up in the Maine North Woods. I used to tie my braid to a swivel and use a shorter leader. I tried a longer leader and wound up twisting my braided line really badly, all through the spool of line. I think having a shorter leader to a swivel at the end of your 20ft leader might help with the twisting and allow me to use a longer leader. Thanks.
I tried this I must have done something wrong. Because when I added water back in boat. Then I touch the weld they just flicked off. I use a drill bit wire brush to remove paint then did weld. Idk
I’m around 260, 280 at my heaviest. They’re rated for 350ish if I remember correctly. Youd probably be fine. I’ve seen some big dudes in them platforms.
Hi, I am outside the US and I brought my old Coleman propane lanterns and stoves. I am wondering if this can give me some relief with canisters as I don't find Coleman propane canisters in my country.
Good video presentation. Well constructed. My question is recently I purchased small 5lb and 11lb propane tanks for camping\picnicking. The vendor mentions doing a "Proper Purging of a Propane Tank" and provides instructions. Does opening\closing the bleeder valve do the same thing? Seems like it if the intent is to remove old air in a brand-new tank, the bleeder valve opening\closing does this job of proper purging. I'm guessing the vendor's instructions are more for larger tanks. Any advice?
Honestly, I may not be qualified to answer this will 100% accuracy. But to me, purging means purging the tank of air. For example, if I took my 5lb tank and filled with exact method, without the bleeder valve open, it wouldn’t fill fully. There would be air pressure in the 5lb, transferred from the 20lb. The air must be purged out to fill fully. Hope that helped, if not, may want to check with your tank manufacturer

Another thing you can use solid aluminum rivets with rivet impact gun. If you little bit scared to do brazing. And apply some epoxy or marine grade adhesive. And if the leak is from loose old rivet.
Great how to on how to aluminum braze. But as far as repairing rivets, it’s best to drill the out and replace with another solid rivet. Bucking bars, air hammers and solid rivets are all cheap on amazon
What if I don’t hear the propane flow from the 20 to the 5. I am not getting what I’m doing wrong. Both tanks are open and the bleeder valve is open too.
I had some amazing "luck" with my Flame Kings. One of the tanks has a small pit near the top that it is very slowly leaking from. So I'll have to return the set.
