I had some amazing "luck" with my Flame Kings. One of the tanks has a small pit near the top that it is very slowly leaking from. So I'll have to return the set.
Good info Josh, need to check them out. For a while they were getting $8.00 for a single 1 lb tank around here. Won’t take too long to recoup the initial investment and start saving some dough. Thanks
Hi, I am outside the US and I brought my old Coleman propane lanterns and stoves. I am wondering if this can give me some relief with canisters as I don't find Coleman propane canisters in my country.
How are you getting a full fill with the tank laying sideways? Shouldn't it be hanging straight down so you can fill it with liquid to the top? (or 80%)
I assume the principles of fluid level comes into play. The LP in the 20lb is higher than the 1 lb, so it can fill all the way. The bleeder valve helps let out the air in the 1 lb and the LP is going in
That would be a completely full tank, slightly over. Tear weight is 1.4 lbs, full would be 2.4. Some say they’re designed for an 80% fill, which I sometimes get, sometimes I get 2.4.
